The 6-foot-7 forward can shoot it from three, which makes him a stretch big and someone who can play within any offensive system. He's also able to attack closeouts and showed some flashes of really impressive finishing at the rim against other bigs. He also has the coordination to pass it when being hounded in the paint. Mullins should be able to get minutes for Nobles this season and will definitely play college ball.

Amparo is only 6-foot-3 but operates as a small ball big man who can hold his own against much bigger players. The junior forward has incredible athleticism and consistently skies for rebounds on both the offensive and defensive ends. He can finish above the rim, and he can also make an outside shot from time to time. Defensively, he'll fight with anyone and is super versatile because of his size, length and athleticism. Amparo is certainly raw, but I could see him improving and finding a college fit in a couple years.

Mbpudjika is continuing to make significant developmental strides every time I watch him play. The 6-foot-9 big man has always had excellent athleticism, but he hasn't always been controlled in the paint or near the hoop. But he seems to be coming into his own physically and showed a motor that I didn't know he had—he was ALL over the offensive boards and could not be boxed out by anyone on Beaver. He could potentially compete for a starting spot at CATS this season, especially if he continues refining his touch and control.

Schirripa is a really interesting long term prospect who seems to be improving rapidly. The 6-foot-5 lefty forward had some pretty special finishing flashes against Bridgewater on Friday; he skies and extends both his right and left hand for finishes over the defense and looks very athletic doing it. He also does all the little things, like flashing hard to the middle in a zone and making himself available for passing angles. He can also find teammates himself with his vision and unselfishness. Very curious to see how Schirripa continues to develop—he could look a lot different in a couple years.

Faulk was a man amongst boys in Bridgewater's game against Catholic Memorial. The 6-foot-3 guard is simply more physically strong and mature than his counterparts, and he uses these tools to bulldoze into the lane and keep his line on drives. He has a solid enough handle to puncture the paint, and he makes good passes and can finish above the rim once he gets there. Defensively, he's incredibly active and aggressive, though he fouls a bit too much. Faulk should be one of the more dominant MIAA players this year.

Santos is another really intriguing long term prospect because of his combination of size and length, coordination, and skills. The 6-foot-5 wing can shoot the ball from three, but he can also attack closeouts and get to his mid range shots. His handle is solid, and he understands the right pass to make at all times. The flashes are absolutely there. Once he can get more consistent and a bit stronger, Santos could be a pretty awesome college player and a prime prep school reclass candidate. Modern day wing.

This past weekend, I watched the Beantown Slam Fall League quarterfinals. The league, which plays its games at the Quincy YMCA, has both prep and public programs in it, with tons of talent across the board.
