Robbie Hodin | Prep Hoops Scout
Mullins is an incredibly intriguing long term prospect who’s toeing the line between improving for the future while still being ready to play right now. The 6-foot-7 forward can shoot it from three, which makes him a stretch big and someone who can play within any offensive system. He’s also able to attack closeouts and showed some flashes of really impressive finishing at the rim against other bigs. He also has the coordination to pass it when being hounded in the paint. Mullins should be able to get minutes for Nobles this season and will definitely play college ball.

+66 (#110 to #44)
Mullins, a shot making forward out of the Noble & Greenough School, rose an impressive 66 spots in this update. After a strong summer with Team White Mamba, the floor spacing forward proved himself as one of the better prospects in this class. At 6’7″, he has good positional size and with his shooting ability, presents as a mismatch for opposing defenses. He’s got some handle on the perimeter and the ability to score in isolation situations, while also displaying some good athletic pop. Defensively, he can guard around the rim and in space, showing the same level of versatility that he has on the defensive end of the floor.

Mullins fits the mold as a prototypical floor spacer with his ability to make shots with the ball in his hands, running off screens, or in catch and shoot situations. The Noble & Greenough prospect had a productive summer with Team White Mamba, showcasing his versatility and shot making at a high level. He’s another prospect that shines as a pop guy in ball screens, quickly finding space and presenting a big target for ball-handling guards. While he’s a capable multi-level finisher, his ability to move without the ball, hit shots with range, and also create his own shot from behind the arc are seperators in his game. He’s another prospect that should be in line for a breakout season and is one to watch for scholarship level programs.

Mullins, a skilled hybrid forward out of the Noble & Greenough School, impressed with his ability to space the floor as a shot maker. At 6’8″, he screams stretch forward and didn’t take long to prove he had deep range, a quick release, and the ability to make them in bunches. He did a nice job of running the floor in transition, was quick to pop out of screens, and showed no hesitation getting into his shot. He has the length and burst needed to finish in the paint and seemed to thrive in the game’s most competitive situations. On the other end, he can guard up and down a spot and is a plus rebounder in space.
