Late September PrepHoops The Expo featured dozens of the best prospects in Tennessee. This was a great opportunity to see a bunch of guys as they head into their season. Three guards outperformed the masses. While all three entered with Top 20 rankings, and exited the same, the singular dominance deserves recognition.

9/28/25: Exceptional handles. Kobi is a former PrepHoopsTN Combine Young MVP and he excelled at this same event last fall. Kobi's career with Independence High was as understudy to Jett Montgomery and then Tylan Lewis, but the keys to the car were handed to him in June. This is his team now. Jackson can shoot or pass at an elite level. If he were 2-3 inches taller, then he could be a pure catch-and-shoot guy though his passing and handles are so pure that point guard is a wonderful role.

was completely dominant in 3v3. He outwitted defenses and generally played like he was picking on his little brothers. Sharp, decisive moves. Jet-quick. Tremendous court vision. Mature basketball decisions and fakes with a purpose. Surprisingly adept under the basket against fellow guards. Utilized the pump fake to draw others off balance.

9/28/25: Elite handles. In the last year, as Miles attended the same event one year prior, he gained a lot of good weight. Bulked up. Built like a varsity player now, for sure.

can dominate a game without scoring. Few high school players in Tennessee can do that. His ability to shoot is strong, but he did not take many outside shots during the fullcourt runs. He did make everyone on his team better and finished when the opportunity glaringly presented itself.
