In the latest 2027 Tennessee player rankings, there's no shock to see newcomers enter. Also, there's no shock to see this class shape up to be a solid one. I expect the 2025 season to see a lot of the talented guys in the class have All-District and All-Region type of campaigns.

Don't be shocked to see the following things happen:

[player_tooltip player_id='2111892' first='Jordan' last='Myles'] performs at a high level

Houston will be led by the No. 1 point guard in the class [player_tooltip player_id='2101889' first='Justin' last='Frison']. But, the Mustangs will need the 6-foot-5 wing [player_tooltip player_id='2111892' first='Jordan' last='Myles'] to take a huge leap after Houston lost Keron Jackson and Kaleb Jeffries. Myles will need to help out with the ball handling and scoring duties. He will need to rebound and play physical on the defensive end. Don't be surprised if he does all of these things mentioned and help Houston be a contender in Class 4A.

[player_tooltip player_id='2376260' first='Davis' last='Cochran'] has Brentwood as one of the best teams in 4A

The 6-7 forward helped the Bruins finished the 2024 season 21-7 (11-3 in 4A District 10). In 2025, Brentwood will be a team to watch for to finish at the top of the district with Cochran leading the way. He could be a dark Mr. Basketball candidate if he consistently averages 20 points and 10 rebounds per game. Cochran finishes well around the rim. He's active on the glass. Cochran can put the basketball on the floor and get to his spots. He's going to be a matchup problem for opposing teams.

[player_tooltip player_id='2278560' first='Bryce' last='Garnett']'s 3-point percentage is in the high 30s

Kirkwood's [player_tooltip player_id='2278560' first='Bryce' last='Garnett'] has established himself as one of the best knockdown shooters in the class. From 3-point range, Garnett shoots each attempt with confidence. He's confident each shot is going to go in. Garnett can't be left open. He's also capable of making shots from deep with a hand in his face. Garnett should lead his team in 3-point percentage. By season's end, it could be one of the best percentages in the state.

[player_tooltip player_id='2133797' first='Bryson' last='Wade'] is one of the best guards in DII-AA

Brentwood Academy has its leader in Wade. That's been evident since his freshman season. Wade is a really good on-ball defender. He sees the floor well. Wade is also an efficient scorer. The Eagles have a team equipped to compete in DII-AA but everything starts with Wade's consistent play. He has to play well. I believe he's going to do so this upcoming season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2133810' first='Ty' last='Cobb'] takes home another Mr. Basketball award

Last season, Upperman's [player_tooltip player_id='2133810' first='Ty' last='Cobb'] was the talk in Class 3A. He was pretty much the face of the class. Cobb's big performances led to a state title and a Mr. Basketball award. In 2025, Cobb will probably perform well and lead his team on a nightly basis. He's lethal on the offensive end. Cobb's numbers will be very good. More hardware could come Cobb's way once again.

In the latest 2027 Tennessee player rankings, there's no shock to see newcomers enter. Also, there's no shock to see this class shape up to be a solid one. I expect the 2025 season to see a lot of the talented guys in the class have All-District and All-Region type of campaigns.
