<h2 class="wp-block-heading">RANKINGS RISERS</h2>   <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2855087' first='Chase' last='Jones'] (83 to 17) Once seeing Chase was enough to push him very far up the rankings. He's a big guard who shoots it at a high level. Look for him to have a tremendous impact on Spring Mills season. Got to see him in person at Anderson Court in Morgantown during fall league versus the BlueChips squad and he did not disappoint. </p>   <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2724465' first='Jace' last='Watts'] (67 to 46) Watts has the size and talent to not only impact Scott's season but to be at an All State level. Every coach that has mentioned him to me has had nothing but high praise. <br></p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">EXPRESSIONS PREP</h2>   <p>Expressions Prep's High School coach John Frazier upgraded with some local WV talent as well as brought in some new 2028's to help the winning cause. A pair of point guards in [player_tooltip player_id='3034208' first='Dor' last='Taube'] and [player_tooltip player_id='3034209' first='Dylan' last='Burko'] who'll assist fellow sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='2561856' first='Mitch' last='Cox']. They'll be accompanied by a pair of wing/forwards with [player_tooltip player_id='3034206' first='Ariel' last='Bacier'] and [player_tooltip player_id='3034211' first='Noam' last='Leybovich']. Get a glimpse of these guys in their opener against Capital High School. </p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">HUNTINGTON PREP </h2>   <p>[player_tooltip player_id='3026658' first='Hendrik' last='Pertel'] : Already looks the part of high level, possibly power four guard/wing. Length, great looking jumper with excellent elevation and athleticism to get the shots he wants. Got to see him up close in person at the Appalachian Prep Jamboree and it didn't take long for him to come off the bench and make an immediate impact. </p>   <p>[player_tooltip player_id='3026671' first='Tylen' last='Kingsby'] : another young shooting guard coming up in the HP national program, Kingsby certainly looked the part when we saw him at the Appalachian Prep Jamboree. If he's able to come back to HP next season as well, his stock will see a significant rise almost instantly. </p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">RECENTLY OFFERED</h2>   <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2395983' first='Dominic' last='Sprouse']Sprouse's offers continue to stack up with KCU, WV Weslyan and Fairmont State all on the list. That list will grow in live period next summer. Look for Sprouse's list to grow considerably by this time in 2026. </p>   <p></p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">WHO TO WATCH FOR</h2>   <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2626485' first='Ezra' last='Slaughter'] Slaughter is a big athletic guard who could be a defensive stopper immediately in one of WV's top programs. You might not see him much early on but look for him to work his way into the lineup slowly as did teammate [player_tooltip player_id='2617683' first='Jaden' last='Fleming'] last year. </p>   <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2869454' first='Mason' last='Parrish'] Mason is the guy nobody has heard of yet but the southpaw sharp shooter is poised for a big season on a squad of all state level guards. With North Marion a favorite to advance to Charleston, its likely Parrish gets the big stage in March. </p>   <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2425399' first='Roe' last='Maston'] could be what the St Marys Blue Devil program has been waiting on to lead a resurgence in their program. Maston who stands at or near 6'4", has a good looking jumper and handles like a point guard has the tools to be a matchup problem in the world of single A basketball. </p>   <p></p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">NEWS & NOTES</h2>   <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2954022' first='Jacari' last='Goode'] is back in the rankings after a short hiatus when transferring to Fork Union, but has since had a change of heart and is enrolled at South Charleston and will take over point guard duties. Goode had an outstanding freshman campaign at St Albans and is looking to carry that momentum down the street to South Charleston with a talented supporting cast.
