A prospect who we were the first public national rankings to have, other websites have started to take notice of Swann at a national level. I was really impressed with Swann's creativity as a ball handler and creator, making quick moves that keep the defense off balance. One of the top players in New York City, Swann has had some impressive fall showings for Thomas Jefferson and took a recent visit to UMass.

Another prospect we had ranked before any other national website, Bailey was simply too productive as a scorer on the EYBL circuit to ignore and I'm happy other national rankings publications are starting to take notice. Bailey won co-MVP at Pangos and recently made a commitment to Georgia Tech, a program where he could compete for minutes as a freshman. I'm a big fan of guys who excel as scorers with the ball in their hands to go somewhere that believes in them instead of chasing the highest possible program.

One of the fastest rising prospects in the country, Carter-Givens is one of the newest players to organized basketball that you'll see on any national ranking. The upside on Carter-Givens on both ends of the floor is incredibly intriguing as a rim protector and potentially a switchable big. The offensive part of his game has time to come around and while Carter-Givens won't arrive at NC State a finished product, he has the tools to be elite defensively which is where Will Wade wants to thrive.

Another prospect who quickly rose up the national ranks, it's hard to find 7 footers as coordinated as Lay is. Lay helped TLBA win the UA Rise championship and has built chemistry with Isaac Ellis during both the grassroots and high school season with Moravian Prep. Florida has done an excellent job at identifying high school recruits outside of the top 100 and under the radar transfer to help build a national championship team.

The Alabama native has made the move to Virginia powerhouse John Marshall to help bolster their frontcourt athleticism, rim protection and overall depth. Mississippi State has done a nice job grabbing rangy and athletic high school prospects who can fit in the style of play in the SEC. With three players nationally ranked already committed, Mississippi State is investing heavy in building through the high school ranks in this portal heavy era we currently find ourselves in.
