He checked into the game off the bench, and immediately drained a three, showing that lefty touch from beyond the arc. Josiah can handle the ball in the open floor, and has the length to defend a variety of spots on the defensive end. He was in constant communication both on the floor and from the bench, and was a true competitor who wasn't afraid to match up with the opposing team's best player. Oday started off the game pulling up and connecting on a three from the top of the key, and also showed impressive vision throughout the game. His shot wasn't falling as much in the first half, but he got hot in the second half as we got to see his full finishing abilities on display. Now listed at 6', he offers a bit of length out on the perimeter. As the defense began to recognize his outside shooting ability, Griffin did a nice job of mixing in some shot fakes, sending defenders flying by him as he put the ball on the floor and attacked the basket. At 6'2 he has enough length to play at the 2 or 3 spots, offering a bit of versatility on the defensive end. Throughout the game defenders had to closedown hard on him, as Oliver could make them pay for letting him catch in space. At 6'5-6'6 he has impressive fluidity in his movement. He's able to beat defenders off the dribble in the half-court, effortlessly weaves through traffic in transition, and has the athleticism to take off and finish above the rim. Showed the touch to finish over the top of defenders from a variety of angles, while also being able to pull-up for a mid-range jumper if his man sags off too much. Had a really nice underhand scoop assist to set up his teammate for an easy bucket at one point, showing some impressive vision and creativity. Defenders couldn't afford to leave him open, or he could quickly put three points on the board when the ball came his way. Cooper did a great job of moving without the basketball, as he was constantly cutting or finding pockets of space on the three point line. He spent time playing point guard, where he showed he can handle it under pressure comfortably at 6'2. The ball never seemed to stick in his hands, and he made quick decisions offensively.
