Who Can I See Leveling Up This Year?

Here is a list of a few guys who I feel have a lot of upside to their games, along with decent IQ and feel for the game. I feel this year could be the year for them in the great state of Kansas to shine bright and show improvements in their overall games. These guys showed sparks last year, being the underclassmen, but this year, with some experience under their belt, the sky is the limit. I am looking forward to seeing the growth in these individuals this upcoming fall basketball season.      Solid Shooting technique with a release that is quick enough, and shoots it with confidence. He can play big, but is even better on the wing due to his guard skills. I can see future improvements in his dribbling and drives to the basket, as well as his free-throw shooting. He has a routine at the foul line, so I think it could get much better. He has solid hands-on defense and fair timing in his contests near the rim. Plays with energy and feeds off of his made baskets, so if he sees one go through the net, then it could become an onslaught.     #24 For Wichita East last season. Has Good overall instincts for the game. Has good athleticism at 6'4 and does a solid job at contesting baskets at the rim. Oliver has that Swiss Army knife mentality on the court, where he seems to do a little bit of everything very well. I can see Oliver taking on more of a key role on Offense and being even more of a solid defensive anchor and help defender for his team in this upcoming season.     Solid 3&D guy with good lateral movement and potential to do even more on both ends due to his size and length. The shooting form is textbook, and the overall effort seems to be there as well. I can see him playing well in any zone coverage on Defense, and I can see him busting any zone on Offense fairly easily. He moves easily up and down the court. On film, he moves like a point guard on Defense, so with his size, he covers a ton of space pretty quickly.     2 Sport athlete. He might major in Baseball, but even as a minor in Basketball, you can clearly see the IQ is there. Do not get too close to him when he shoots because he has the awareness to kick his feet out at you and draw the foul for potential 4-point plays. Ben has that shooter's IQ and is very good at making timely buckets when the team needs them most.         Brendan is a shooter who is very comfortable with his quick releases and step-backs. Leaving him open is not an option. I can see him improving his handles significantly and his defensive awareness in this upcoming season, with more of a role on the team in his sophomore campaign.
