UAB Elite Camp Rising Stars

The UAB camp was a major success, featuring top-tier talent from across the country. It was undoubtedly one of the premier elite camps of the summer, showcasing a deep pool of skilled and competitive players who left a strong impression. The high level of intensity, quality coaching, and valuable exposure created the perfect platform for rising prospects to elevate their game and gain national recognition. In addition, Alabama proved to be a hotbed of untapped talent, with several in state players making a name for themselves and showing they belong on the national radar.    Trayvon is quickly proving he's one of the top players in his class no question about it. A young and exciting talent, it's only a matter of time before he takes his game to the next level. A big, physical guard with a dog mentality, Trayvon thrives in transition and consistently shows off high-level athleticism. This offseason, he made a major move from Huntsville to Gadsden City, immediately raising the Titans' chances of making another run at the coveted state championship the “Blue Map.” Teaming up with standout Jakobi Sharp and a strong supporting cast, Pannell helps make Gadsden City a serious contender in Class 6A.     Evan possesses a unique combination of size and skill that includes tools you simply can't teach. He can stretch the floor, rebound effectively, and knock down the three ball, making him a constant mismatch on the court. After a standout offseason competing with 444 Athletes on the Puma Circuit, Toms is poised for a breakout junior year. At the Elite Camp, he showcased his full arsenal of skills, solidifying his status as a rising prospect. His stock continues to climb, and he has already picked up offers from North Alabama, Jacksonville State, and Tulane. With his versatility and matchup advantages, Evan is expected to be a key piece for Coach Schweers and his staff this upcoming season undoubtedly a go-to guy.     Khalil is a name to remember in his class. Just a sophomore, he already shows a high-level feel for the game and tremendous upside. Luster continues to make a name for himself with his skill set and athleticism. He can stretch the floor, handle the ball, create off the dribble, and knock down shots making him a true offensive threat. He also understands how to exploit mismatches, showing maturity beyond his years. Coming off a strong summer with We All Can Go on the Puma Circuit, Luster is poised for a big sophomore season.     Charles Burdette stood out as one of the top floor generals at the camp, consistently making plays and being vocal on both ends. A true pass first point guard, he brings energy that fuels his team, while also showing he can score when needed. Recently transferring to Gadsden City from Mississippi, Charles is set to be a key piece in the Titans' success. He's a coach's dream tough, unselfish, and willing to do whatever it takes to win. With Burdette in the mix, alongside a strong supporting cast, Gadsden City is poised to make serious noise in Class 6A. Under Coach Graves' leadership, expect another deep playoff run this season.     Tucker Scholl caught fire from deep during 5-on-5 play and immediately made people take notice he's a name that had me talking. A 2027 guard with a smooth shooting stroke and a natural feel for the game, Scholl not only knocks down shots with range but also facilitates well and keeps the offense flowing. He's definitely a player to keep an eye on in his class. With his ability to space the floor, make smart decisions, and play with confidence, Tucker is primed for a breakout junior season. If he continues to develop at this pace, expect his stock to rise quickly.     Brendon is an explosive combo guard who can really fill it up. He plays with a smooth, confident style and has a natural scoring ability that jumps off the floor. What makes him even more intriguing is his ability to create for others he's not just a scorer, but a capable playmaker who can control the pace and make smart reads. A rising name in the 2027 class, Davis is definitely a prospect to track closely. With his athleticism, versatility, and all-around skill set, he has all the tools to become a good impact player at the next level.
