After banging out the underclassmen a few Saturday's ago. The upperclassmen get a dedicated solo run with The Expo taking place on the last weekend in September.

Following are some quick hitting observations from team 9.

[player_tooltip player_id='2627100' first='Aiden' last='Burk'] 6-1 2027 Lutheran Westland Backcourt prospect with a lanky build. Still needs to develop a big physically. That being said, the lanky build helps him play taller than his listed height. Accordingly was effective out in transition. Made a difficult catch and ordered his feet quickly to finish.

Amare Haynes 6-2 2027 West Bloomfield I was impressed early with Haynes suffocating full court on ball defense. You don't often see that at showcases. Kept up the defensive intensity. Earning steals with quick hands and instincts. Turned defense into transition opportunities quickly. It wasn't all defensive highlights though. Good ball handler who showed a killer crossover.

[player_tooltip player_id='2964366' first='Baron' last='Colbert II'] 6-2 2027 Dollar Bay (pictured) The player with the longest road trip, was also of the biggest eye openers for me. Went to toe-to-toe with one best guards in the camp during the 3x3 portion. Then kept up the strong play during full scrimmages. Is a true point but isn't small. Is a legit 6-2 with a strong athletic frame. Plays off of two feet and scored in the paint. However, scoring was clearly not his objective. A pass first point guard who plays with an extreme level of composure. The prospect from the far reaches of the Keweenaw Peninsula (UP) showed he clould play with anyone.

[player_tooltip player_id='2539874' first='Markese' last='Williams'] 6-4 2027 Jackson Northwest First caught this prospect this summer with [program_tooltip program_id='2539820' first='The' last='Academy'] this summer. The skeleton key is a legitimate backcourt skillset on bulky post frame. Has a smooth release from beyond the arc. Uses his physical attributes to get it off quickly. Good athlete who guarded multiple possessions on the defensive end.

[player_tooltip player_id='2873531' first='Lukas' last='Tedder'] 6-1 2027 Waterford our Lady of the Lakes Took a little bit for the Division IV prospect to get going. But once he did, he showed some promise. Moved well off the ball. Relocated well and found seams within the defense to get open. Good shooter with a trigger quick release. The stocky guard also showed a soft touch on a high arching floater.

[player_tooltip player_id='2972153' first='Trenton' last='Williams'] 6-2 Saginaw United Stocky and wide bodied backcourt prospect was a dynamic athlete. Used his size to be a factor on the offensive glass. Also showed an explosive spin move that he used to get to the basket. Should compete for time in what is shaping up to be a deep Unified backcourt.

[player_tooltip player_id='2847317' first='Liam' last='Wilson'] 6-7 2027 Canton Perhaps the most impressive post prospect I saw on the day. Despite being a post, showed the ability to drive to both the left and right. Showed explosive leaping ability that helped as an efficient finisher at the rim. If he didn't finish, displayed a quick second jump that often allowed him to get his own miss.

[player_tooltip player_id='2538844' first='Dorion' last='Kolby Jackson'] 5-11 West Bloomfield Jet quick point guard showed toughness throughout the day. Got knocked around a bit by bigger players but kept competing all day. Got to his spots easily, and was one of the better ball handlers I saw. Played with his head up and appeared to be an advanced live dribble passer.

[player_tooltip player_id='2610369' first='Titus' last='Spencer'] 5-11 2026 Holland Christian One of the quickest players in the camp. Spencer also showed excellent change of direction ability. Isn't very big but has attributes that make up for it. Primarily an effective floater that he used often on Saturday. Had some of the better acceleration of any prospect. Got from 0-60 quickly. Especially in transition.
