Recruiting: New Mexico State offers 2028 Elite Guard

Nanez drew raves just about everywhere he played with his sharp 3-point shooting skills, playmaking abilities and his skills in distributing the basketball to teammates and more.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>RecruitLook Hoops described Nanez as a “quick release Shooter w/unlimited range. Picks his spots when to score and settles the team in pressure moments.” RecruitLook named Nanez the the 16U All League Third team following his outstanding summer. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Nanez played for Cleveland during the 2025-26 season and helped the Storm reach the quarterfinals of the Class 5A state tournament. However, he will play for ABC Prep in 2025-26.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>ABC Prep, which is affiliated with the Grind Session, announced Nanez would join the school for this coming season on social media and described him as “a proven leader with elite character.
