McDonald was a player that we were curious about heading into the event, and I liked his approach to the event. He stood out as a gritty, two-way guard who plays with an edge. The game slows down for him as he makes smart reads as a point guard while challenging himself defensively. He showed strong vision, steady decision-making, and competitiveness that resembled a player for whom the game comes easily to. It was a very good showing, and I left wanting to see even more from him, especially as a playmaking guard.

He's a bigger guard who stood out with his ability to cut and find holes in the defense, using size to overpower smaller matchups. He showed flashes of a back-to-the-basket game and creativity finishing around the rim. In the 3 on 3 portion of the event, he scored with ease and refused to let players score on him. With his size and skill, the next step is becoming more assertive as a player who demands the double team and either makes the extra pass or takes advantage of smaller guards.

Haller showcased quickness and an ability to blow by defenders to finish at the rim. He moved well without the ball, finding open spots and playing the right way in a showcase setting. Defensively, he switched onto guards and held his own. His blend of effort, awareness, and skill makes him an intriguing player to follow moving forward.

Skewes was one of the bigger players at the event and had flashes of showing it with down-low dominance. He grabbed the board and kept the ball high, rebounded hard, and scored efficiently inside, but also stepped out and knocked down a three to surprise defenders. He ran the floor well, earning easy baskets in transition, and that stood out with his size. His size and ability to stretch the floor make him a player worth monitoring.
