Multisport ND Standouts: Fall Shout-Outs

We are in the heart of football season, but at Prep Hoops Dakotas, we always have our minds on the hardwood. North Dakota is loaded with talented multi-sport athletes, and many of the state's talented hoopers are also making serious noise on the gridiron this fall. Who's shining under the Friday night lights while also being a proven force on the basketball court? We've got the answers.   Check out our shout-outs below to some of the state's top multi-sport standouts who are heating up this fall!   Fall Shout-Outs    Mr. Green has had an incredible season on the Gridiron. The Hawks are 3-1 and they just knocked off #1 Bismarck Legacy. Aiden had the game-winning touchdown to take down the Sabers. He is an explosive and big-play wide receiver. He is also a shutdown corner; they call him "Green Island". Aiden is a performer like a 1st Team All-Stater. In hoops, Aiden is an All-EDC dynamic guard with an excellent pull-up game. He is also a space-creating slasher and an athletic finisher.     The Blue Jays moved BIG Ben to DT this year and he is dominating! Hynek also stars at TE and has had some super impressive catches, along with a few noteworthy TD snags. Ben is a highly sought-after recruit with offers from all across the country. In hoops, Hynek's length is game-changing. He is not just big, Ben is skilled and full of versatility.     Blaise is a standout on both sides of the ball for the #5 ranked Squirrels. CC is 3-1 on the year and they are fresh off a 36-21 win over Dickinson. Blaise had around 70 receiving yards and a touchdown in the win over the Mavs. He is also playing well as a DB. In hoops, Cotton is a hardworking role player who does the little things to help his squad. Just like in football, Blaise gets it done on both side of the ball.     Brody is having a breakout season on the Gridiron. He and the Sabers are 3-1 on the season and ranked #4 in AAA. Weigel is looking great as the signal caller and gunslinger. In basketball, Brody is a skilled guard who can do a bit of everything. I will not be surprised if he is also a breakout player on the hardwood.     Bakko and the #2 Vikes are undefeated on the year and they look unstoppable. As expected, Brooks is looking like a dude. Through 4 games, he has 13 catches for 285 yards, and 5 TD's. On defense, Bakko has 21.5 tackles (15 solo), and 4 interceptions. Bakko is a major football recruit with a huge list of offers that continues to grow. In basketball, Bakko is an elite lead guard with a beautiful middy pull-up, and is one of the best dunkers in ND.     Cooper is coming into his own as QB1 for the Aggies. Kittleson has a lively arm and is creative with his legs. Cooper has led his squad to a 4-1 record and they will keep racking up the wins. In bball, expect Kittleson to be an improved offensive player and a dawg on defense.     Glasser is a talented two-way player on the gridiron. This past week vs. Central Cass, Dylan had around 130 receiving yards and a TD. On defense, Glasser has 3 interceptions in 4 games. He is one of the top DB's in AA. In bball, Dylan is a team player, a hard worker, an unselfish passer, and a legit shooter from beyond the arc.     Benz and the Rockets are undefeated and the #1 ranked team in 9-man. Easton has 462 receiving yards and 4 TD's. He is also a dude on defense. In hoops, Benz is a great defender, a major rebounder, and his offensive game is ready to take a leap this winter.     Holland is a standout on both offense and defense as a wide receiver and safety. The Squirrels are 3-1 and ranked #5 in AA. This past week, CC beat Dickinson 36-21, Easton went for 130 receiving yards and he scored a TD. In bball, Holland is a southpaw and a bucket-getter. Easton has the talent to be one of the best in Class A this season.     Simon and the Rockets are undefeated and ranked #1 in 9-Man. Easton is putting up insane numbers at QB. He has thrown for 1,400 yards, 18 TOUCHDOWNS, 0 INT's, and has an astonishing 85 completion percentage! In basketball, Simon is an outstanding PG. I think he is ready to be an All-State baller and he will get the Rockets back to the State B.     Becker is balling out as a sophomore QB. He and the Outlaws are 4-1 on the season and Becker is putting up splashy numbers. Jace has 59 completions for 786 yards at a 61.5 completion percentage. He has rushed for 150 yards on 33 carries (4.6 YPC). Becker has 13 passing TD's and 4 rushing TD's. 17 TD's in 5 games and only a 10th grader, not bad! In hoops, Jace is a returning All-Region player. He is a stat-stuffer, a do-it-all-player, an athlete, and a blood thirsty competitor.     Bryant is one of the better O & D linemen in North Dakota. He is committed to Jamestown. Matt and the Aggies are 4-1 on the season and a top 5 team in A. In hoops, Bryant plays with heart and always gives 100% effort. Matt does well in the PNR game, is effective in zone D, and is a productive rebounder.     The Aggies are 4-1 and one of the elite Class A teams. Steffen is playing extremely well and wideout and corner. He has been especially good on the defensive end. Resse is a ball-hawk and a playmaker. In basketball, Steffen is a lanky, rangy, athlete. He hoops hard and has a competitive edge.     Reese is growing as a young QB and is getting better every week. This past Friday vs. Williston, won big and Walters went off. The emerging QB went for 265 passing yards, threw 3 TD's, and had an astonishing 94 completion %. In hoops, Reese is a big and athletic guard who is ready to make a name for himself in the EDC.     The Vikings are 4-0 and ranked #2, earlier in the season, they took down AAA Horace by a score of 34-32. Starcevic is a monster on defense, a great blocker on O, and a sure-handed TE. Luke has 17.5 tackles (6 TFL's). On offense, he has 9 catches for 214 yards, and 2 TD's. Starcevic is a major college recruit with offers from big-time programs all across the nation. In bball, he is a tough, strong, and efficient low-post.     Allmaras is having an outstanding season and the #1 Rockets are cruising with a 5-0 record. Thomas has 382 receiving yards and an impressive 7 TOUCHDOWNS. In hoops, Allmaras is a hardworking, unselfish, glue guy, who makes his team better.     The Outlaws are 4-1 and a big part of that success is because of the freak freshman, [player_tooltip player_id='2442325' first='Ty' last='Barman']. Through 5 games, Ty has 26 receptions for 456 yards, and 3 TD's. On defense, Barman has 34 tackles (24 solo), 1 INT, and two forced fumbles. In basketball, Barman is a beast, a star, and one of the best in ND regardless of class.
