One of the top performers from the day of hoops, Jajczyk is a skilled point guard with the quickness to beat his defender off the dribble and the motor to relentlessly put pressure on the rim. Skilled enough to change directions off the dribble and score at the rim or knock down the open perimeter shot, Jajczyk is a player you have to pick your poison when defending him. When you combine a talented athlete and excellent effort you give yourself the opportunity to really stand out above the competition and Jajczyk left his mark on Saturday as a small town prospect to know.

I liked how Maddy handled the basketball and set the table for his team. Able to make live dribble passes with either hand, Maddy had a couple sweet dimes with his left hand to teammates. When the opposition tried pressuring him into turnovers, Maddy did a nice job shielding his body and protecting the basketball. Strong performance on Saturday by him.

Working well off his teammates, Mahler scored numerous points off cuts and leaking out in transition. Playing to his size, Mahler was scoring in the paint over smaller players and being aggressive at the rim. Mahler had a sweet reverse layup on the baseline off a cut and crashed the offensive glass for second chance opportunities. Productive day for a player who didn't need to dominate the ball to be impactful.

I enjoyed watching Oleski compete on Saturday as he knocked down a handful of set 3-pointers for his team. Also making the right basketball play, Oleski was unselfish when he saw an open teammate. What I loved the most was Oleski was getting tons of extra shots up in between games, not wasting open gym time to get better. That type of work ethic should allow him to continue to improve as a shooter over time.

Allgood hit a clutch 3-pointer from the top of the key in Elam ending overtime that helped push his team over the top. A quick guard, Allgood wanted to attack closeouts with crossovers and straight line drives. Those drives combined with the ability to knock down time and space 3-pointers made him tough to defend on Saturday.
