I really liked Lake's ability to finish with his left hand, getting to his spots as a driver and just making the game simple but remaining effective. Lake doesn't blow you away with any physical skills but when you are skilled and know how to play you can be really effective and Lake was one of the most productive players I saw on Sunday.

Another Moeller prospect getting spotlighted in this article, Kenner has some real juice as a ball handler who had some advanced dribble moves. A couple of the moves Kenner made were nasty as he can change directions and use crossovers and hesitation moves to create space. As just an incoming freshman, Kenner has years to go through physical development and his ball handling should only get better with continued reps because you don't have that ability on the ball at a young age unless you are a hard worker.

Spence made a couple jumpers, had a nice baseline drive and score and an and-1 putback in the game I saw. Making these types of plays consistently will be important as Spence showed he's capable of doing a variety of things to score the basketball this opening week. I also thought Spence's teammates did a nice job finding him when he was open as well.

Another Settelmayer making an impact, Carter had a couple nice assists that included kickouts and drop offs on dribble drives. Also able to make shots from the top of the key, Settelmayer is a point guard who can have the ball in his hands and force the defense to guard him on the perimeter and set the table for his teammates. With lots of varsity experience, Settelmayer certainly looked like one of the more experienced and polished players in the fall league.

I was most impressed by Wicker's quick first step, able to get past defenders from a triple threat position to get downhill and score. Also an active mover without the basketball, Wicker scored off cuts and in transition getting behind the defense. Showing some defensive impact as well with a nice blocked shot on a drive and Wicker had himself a nice day to begin the fall league.
