Freshman Showcase: Team 13 Evaluations

Here's a look at some evaluations from Team 13 at the Freshman Showcase last month. After this, you'll see evaluations from Team 14 from both the Freshman and Sophomore showcases. Those should be out later this week.   Go Bears!    Henry was one of the most notable 3v3 names I watched. He's a confident high-volume shooter who knocked down several challenging 3-pointers in that segment. Very aggressive slasher in the 5v5 portion with tons of explosiveness to his game.     6'2" F From New Trier has tons of length. Defense was very impressive, as he showed he can defend anywhere on the floor. Swatting a 3-pt shot out of bounds at one point in the first game.     Very aggressive 6'0" kid out of Marist. Super lengthy player that forces misses and creates turnovers. Always looking to play fast in transition. Even added a 3-pointer on the perimeter. Love the potential.     Brown's a [program_tooltip program_id='2452456' first='Mac' last='Irvin Fire'] and B-B guard that loves to make an impact. He's a good decision-maker with the ball in his hands. Capable of scoring from all three levels. He also slides his feet well on defense to prevent blow-by's. He loves to play quick and has good ball-skills to complement that. High-motor player.     A 6'7" F from Von Steuben. Dinca was one of the tallest guys on the floor. He was a dominant presence inside with his length and created plenty of second chance buckets. Even added a chase-down block defensively. Post-moves are very good, too. Never lost his form throughout the game I covered.     5'9" kid out of Neuqua Valley and M14. The athletic potential is definitely there from looking at his play. Very aggressive defender who makes opponents earn their buckets.
