My annual Film Room series is back for another year! There were over 100 prospects who submitted High School, Grassroots, or Camp Highlights for review and all will be featured in an article on Prep Hoops. Check out my thoughts on the only group of 2029s and watch their film in the post from @AndrewBaxleySC on X (Twitter):

[player_tooltip player_id='2887698' first='Xavier' last='Harding'] (Newberry) - First up in our 2029 Film Room is [player_tooltip player_id='2887698' first='Xavier' last='Harding']. The Newberry and Upward Columbia Point Guard is one of the best in his class and is very much of the all-around type. Harding sees the floor well, is a capable three-point shooter, plays through contact, and is scrappy on both the glass and defensive end.

[player_tooltip player_id='2887702' first='Nevaeh' last='Willingham'] (Newberry) - Willingham is a teammate of Harding's for school and AAU. He is more of a scoring-minded Guard, who showed good flashes of playmaking off the dribble on his Summer Highlights. Nevaeh can get to the rim and finish with either hand, score around bodies in the short and mid range, and is an efficient shooter from the outside.

[player_tooltip player_id='2896388' first='Jackson' last='Mackey'] (Oceanside Collegiate) - Mackey is a young Forward who could be a key piece for the Landsharks as he grows physically. However, one attribute that I've seen on film that I'm also eager to see in person this weekend at the Prep Hoops Freshman Showcase is his mid-range shooting, which is well-advanced for his age.

[player_tooltip player_id='2856553' first='Ryan' last='Curry'] (Bishop England) - The #1 thing that stands out about Ryan on film is his shooting ability. He is a consistent threat from the outside with a mechanically sound release and deep range. However, as the video goes on, you can also see his ability to make plays as a passer and a finisher when run off of the three-point line.

[player_tooltip player_id='2545849' first='Newton' last='Harvey'] (Airport) - Harvey looks to be a very intriguing piece out of Airport High School. He has great size for his age, but doesn't have the awkward movement that usually comes with it. Despite being at his best against smaller matchups in the dunker spot and on the glass, Newton is also a capable ball-handler and shooter.

[player_tooltip player_id='2883936' first='Jayden' last='Curenton'] (Fountain Inn) - Rounding out the 2029 Film Room is [player_tooltip player_id='2883936' first='Jayden' last='Curenton']. Curenton is a multi-sport athlete, and his film came from his 8th Grade Season and Bryson MS. Jayden showed that he can get to the rim in the half-court or in transition, while also providing spacing for other guards to work with outside shooting.
