CHSAA “B” Division Players to Watch

In this first installment of the CHSAA Player Watch, we highlight a selection of rising stars from "Class B", each making a significant impact on their respective programs and leaving a mark on the league as a whole.    Garutti demonstrates exceptional court awareness and versatility on both ends of the floor, consistently contributing across the stat sheet. His toughness is unmistakable, and he plays with a fearless edge that sets the tone for his team.     Henry is a crafty ball handler with the ability to create and operate in space, especially when setting up mid-range jumpers. His exceptional court vision, paired with composure, allows him to execute under pressure solidifying his role as a natural floor general.     Karim brings, in his own words, “leadership, consistency, and competing at the highest level” and it shows. When his feet are set, he knocks down jumpers with confidence, and his downhill attack is both explosive and controlled. His court vision and natural instincts allow him to consistently make the right read, whether as a scorer or facilitator.     Youngblood is a self-proclaimed competitor who does whatever it takes to win. He plays with consistency and demonstrates strong leadership on and off the court. Comfortable attacking left but finishing right, he's an aggressive driver who embraces contact. His shooting mechanics are smooth and confident, making him a reliable threat.     Boyd is a high-level rebounding combo guard with exceptional defensive versatility. His size and athleticism power a relentless motor and dynamic scoring ability, making him a consistent force on both ends of the floor. When paired with his sharp court vision, Boyd emerges as a complete package, capable of leading, defending, and delivering in clutch moments.     Jackson is an efficient and versatile guard with high-level shooting mechanics. He's demonstrated the ability to play both backcourt positions with confidence and control. A pure scorer by nature, he consistently produces across all three of the floor, mid-range, perimeter, and in transition, making him a reliable offensive threat.     Tuitt is quick with the ball and demonstrates a strong understanding of how to manipulate angles, allowing him to attack the paint with precision. His soft touch enables him to finish over taller defenders, while his aggressive mindset and unselfish playmaking keep defenses guessing and off balance.
