All-N-One Sports had a huge turnout of 120 players for their Labor Day Showcase at Rosehill Christian School. About 20-30 college coaches were in attendance and some offers were handed out after stock rising performances! Here are 5 players who caught my eye with the way they played on the court and the way they conducted themselves as teammates well.

Max Muhl was my underrated MVP of the Labor Day Showcase as he came out firing from everywhere beyond the three-point line, connecting on 3-4 in his first scrimmage of the day. He was locked in during skill stations as well, being a willing teammate and spacing the floor as needed for his squad. Muhl came all the way to Tomball from Michigan and definitely blended in and rose above the high-level Texas competition, displaying a great offensive skill set and physical toughness. Max should be a top candidate on college coaches' radars moving forward for this year!

Paul Mendoza was one of the more well-rounded guards in attendance that showed he can impact the game at multiple positions. A formidable guard who can score from all levels, play fundamental perimeter defense, and score in transition, Mendoza is a great hustle and glue player that can help a team with any aspect of the game. His frame also allows him to compete in the post despite having height mismatches against taller players. My first glimpse of Paul was this summer at GASO with Hays Hornets 17u and he will definitely work his way to the top of my radar for this year with this type of play.

Jayden was a top 3 catch and shoot guard in attendance on Labor Day as he used quickness and shifty moves at the two-guard slot to score the basketball. Jayden is most effective using a shoot off the dribble game and also knows how to work the pick and roll to his advantage being the ballhandler as well. His lateral quickness allows him to stay in front of opposing ballhandlers, and he is a good vocal defender as well. Boyce definitely rose his stock this summer with great guard play for Texas Takeover and he will continue to turn heads at Klein Collins.

[player_tooltip player_id='2837380' first='Matthew' last=''] Dale was a good blend of shooting and defense in the scrimmages on Monday. Matt uses his wingspan to play passing lanes and communicate on the defensive side of the ball, also helping out on the rebounds and crashing the offensive glass. Dale also is a good spot up shooter when left open by defenders who fail to close out. Matt is also vocal in huddles and on the bench as a leader, encouraging teammates. Dale gives Klein Oak good size at the guard slot this year and will certainly be one of the senior leaders on the team. He will be an underrated prospect that college coaches can keep their eye on.
