The 2029 rankings watch list got updated on Monday with around 50 prospects ranked. The small forward group is filled with talent that should make an impact during their first varsity season. Here are the 2029 small forwards to track in the update.

[player_tooltip player_id='2899993' first='Javion' last='Chappell'], 6'5 Roselle Catholic

Chappell is one of the most talented wing prospects in the class and should put his game on display this winter. The 6'5 wing explodes off the floor for dunks and can finish through contact in the paint. Chappell can also score in the mid-range and uses his size to see over his defender. He has the length to defend multiple positions on the floor and moves well without the ball in his hands. Chappell has the ability to make an immediate impact on the wing for the Lions with his combination of length, size, and athleticism.

[player_tooltip player_id='2884564' first='Seth' last='Dozier'], 6'1 Paul VI

Dozier joins a talented Eagles' squad that is looking to repeat as Camden County Tournament champions. The 6'1 wing has a good first step, which he uses to beat his defender off the bounce and finishes well around the rim. Dozier is more than just a slasher as he has a good release on his jumper and sets his feet before he shoots. He slides his feet on the defensive end and is an underrated rebounder. Dozier will have the opportunity to play either perimeter spot, which will help his development throughout the course of the season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2884520' first='Cruz' last='Jones-Brown'], 6'1 Hoboken

Jones-Brown can play either forward spot and should put his game on display throughout the season. The 6'1 wing uses his handle to get to his spot on the floor and can finish through contact. Jones-Brown uses his frame well to get position down low and his range extends out to the three-point line. He fights for rebounds on both ends of the floor and is an underrated defender. Jones-Brown is a physical wing prospect who should impact the game at both ends of the floor throughout the season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2633990' first='Clint' last='Martin'], 6'1 Rumson Fair-Haven

Martin has the ability to play both in the backcourt and the front court, which makes him an intriguing prospect to watch in the class. The 6'1 wing has a nice handle, which he uses to get by his defender off the bounce and finishes well around the rim. Martin is more than just a slasher as he wastes little motion in his release and makes opponents pay for giving him space behind the arc. He uses his quick hands to get deflections on the defensive end and is an underrated passer. Martin's versatility is something that will help his stock rise throughout the course of the season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2884525' first='Skylar' last='Simmons'], 6'2 Roselle Catholic

Chappell isn't the only 2029 Lions' wing to track this season as Simmons has the opportunity to make an impact in his debut varsity season. The 6'2 wing has a good first step, which he uses to get into the paint and knows how to finish around the rim. Simmons has a high release on his jumper and makes opponents pay for giving him space behind the arc. He has the athleticism to defend multiple positions on the floor and is an underrated rebounder. Simmons' ability to make plays at both ends of the floor makes him a prospect to watch over the next couple of months.

The 2029 rankings watch list got updated on Monday with around 50 prospects ranked. The small forward group is filled with talent that should make an impact during their first varsity season. Here are the 2029 small forwards to track in the update.
