The primary initiator for the Eagles, Dozier’s combined handle, fluidity, and burst were the air underneath the team’s two wins on Saturday. He tilted the defense early and often in possessions, drawing the eyes of multiple defenders, then slinging the ball around to a shooter or cutter. Dozier got buckets on his own too, particularly by slinking to the rim off the dribble or by topping and pulling up at the second level. Then when his team needed to apply pressure on the other end, Dozier created turnovers at the point of attack, putting together a complete floor game – 14.0 points, 2.5 rebounds, 4.5 assists, and 2 steals.
