<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>What 2026 prospects from the state of Illinois Won the Summer?&nbsp; These are the 10 prospects that elevated their stock the most in our eyes and more importantly college coaches.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1873523' first='Jamison' last='White'] (East St. Louis)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>White along with his brother Jahadi transferred over the Mississippi river from Chaminade to East St. Louis. &nbsp;He was excellent in June with the Flyers as a versatile combo forward with size and strength.&nbsp; Plays with a tenacity on both ends.&nbsp; Can shoot it from three along with throw down massive dunks.&nbsp; He was outstanding with Brad Beal Elite playing a major role in leading them to a Peach Jam championship.&nbsp; Played his role knocking down shots along with rebounding at a high level.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1552438' first='Mason' last='Lockett IV'] (Oswego East)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Lockett had a big month of June with his high school team at both RB and Romeoville.&nbsp; Plus athlete that can get his shot off from pretty much anywhere on the floor.&nbsp; The three level scorer elevated his stock enough to get a high-major offer from DePaul where he recently committed.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1845360' first='Rashaun' last='Porter'] (DePaul Prep)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Porter shined throughout the summer with DePaul Prep and the Wolves.&nbsp; He is a strong and athletic four man that has greatly improved his athleticism and it has taken his game to another level.&nbsp; Consistently played above the rim, snatched rebounds, and was impactful on the defensive end.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1845354' first='Oliver' last='Gray'] (Barrington)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Liked what we saw from Gray over the summer as the shooter with size continues to round out his game.&nbsp; Improved his handles and passing.&nbsp; Was a consistent force for the Wolves throughout the month of July with his consistent shot making and scoring.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1552486' first='Danny' last='Houlihan'] (New Trier)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Houlihan is an elite shot maker that is perhaps the best catch and shoot guy in the class.&nbsp; Liked the progress we saw in his ability to shot fake and get in the mid-range along with growth as a connective passer making solid reads.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2323283' first='Chris' last='Bolte'] (St. Ignatius)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Bolte was outstanding throughout June with Iggy and that continued with [program_tooltip program_id='2076459' first='Breakaway' last=''].&nbsp; Tough and versatile four man that can play inside and out.&nbsp; The consistent production is what really popped for us.&nbsp; Whether watching his game or one on an adjoining court he was always putting it in the hoop or grabbing boards.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1874810' first='Jayden' last='Riley'] (Yorkville Christian)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Riley is one of the best lead guards in the class and went out and proved that this summer.&nbsp; He is a dynamic passer and scorer that fits perfectly in Yorkville Christian's high octane offense.&nbsp; His recruitment really picked up with his strong play with his high school team.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1845357' first='Noah' last='Mister'] (Mt. Carmel)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Mister really elevated his game over the summer with both his high school team and [program_tooltip program_id='2078449' first='Meanstreets' last=''] which translated into a boost in his recruitment.&nbsp; Shifty lead guard that can score getting to his spots and winning off the bounce.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2839970' first='Jordan' last='Williams'] (Fremd)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Williams created a lot of buzz throughout the summer with college coaches as a versatile four that can also play some three.&nbsp; Best attacking off the bounce facing up along with being able to get others involved with his passing.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2297870' first='Matthew' last='Szafoni'] (Lane Tech)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Szafoni is primed for a well over 100+ spot jump in the rankings after his play in June and July.&nbsp; Skilled four man that can shoot it, has touch around the hoop, and brings inside/outside versatility.&nbsp; Had quite a few coaches tracking him!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
