The exposure he is looking for is right under his feet now, and the strong lead guard has a chance to showcase some of the talent we have seen locally against some of the best players in the country. Excited to see what he does on that stage. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>#2 [player_tooltip player_id='1724368' first='Karter' last='Miller'] || Layton ||</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Miller took the state by storm this past year, and this coming season, who knows what he will do, but one thing of for sure is that he will find ways to score the basketball. Miller is one of the best scoring PGs in the state, and he could be among the top scorers across the state once again. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>#3 [player_tooltip player_id='1724367' first='Saxon' last='Young'] || Lone Peak ||</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Young was one of the head-turning guards in last year's state championships. He was quick, he got to his spots, and he was just a big-time shot maker. This time around, he is at a new school, and the expectation remains the same for him. Young had an excellent summer and looks to build on that at Lone Peak this coming season. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>#4 [player_tooltip player_id='2218132' first='Malakai' last='Tobler'] || Farmington ||</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Tobler is an elite scoring guard, and he will likely have the green light at Farmington this season. Look for him to have a breakout season. He is an NWAC-type guard who can come in and score. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>#5 [player_tooltip player_id='1724369' first='Jax' last='Oyler'] || American Fork ||</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Oyler is a deadly shooter, and whether he is on the ball or off the ball, Oyler scores. He has weapons at AF, and his scoring might not be off the charts, but if he can defend and find open players, his value continues to rise. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>#6 [player_tooltip player_id='2125364' first='Cooper' last='Harris'] || Timpanogos ||</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Harris has a chance to make a big-time statement and make a move up this list. Timpanogos is not a team that is talked about enough, but Harris has the game to really help them make some noise. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>#7 [player_tooltip player_id='2024667' first='Colton' last='Hoenigman'] || Syracuse ||</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Hoenigman had a great spring and summer, and he is another player who can continue to rise up the rankings. The kid can score the ball. He is a small school next-level talent that you need to watch. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>#8 [player_tooltip player_id='2022325' first='Anthony' last='Burris'] || Hillcrest ||</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Burris is under the radar, and his potential will shine at the next level. He has the burst and explosiveness that will be magnified when he gets to college. Could end up being a 4-year D2 steal. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>#9 [player_tooltip player_id='2400409' first='Noah' last='Cardon'] || Mountain Crest ||</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Cardon is an exciting player who is off the radar. He has athleticism, and he makes the players around him better. Quickness is displayed on both ends of the floor.
