The Expo: Team 8 Evaluations

A bit small, but has tons of length. Throughout the opening contest, he did a great job of creating his own shot off the dribble while hitting a pair of challenging midrange shots. He came up with some tough rebounds at numerous moments of the first game over larger opponents. He also showed that he's capable of scoring from all three levels. Making it a challenge for guys to get open with his defensive presence. Woods had a variety of skills that were shown on Saturday where he can make an impact for a small school at the next level. Efficient volume shooter who can make shots from many areas. While watching him in Saturday, he showcased great footwork in the post. Played mistake-free basketball, too. If the shot wasn't there, he wasn't afraid to pass it up. Added some explosiveness as the game progressed, which is something I didn't see much before. The physical tools he displays are very impressive, and he can be a developmental piece for lots of small school programs in the future. Especially with his defensive play, as he picked up several blocks and forced countless misses. Physicality down low created tons of challenges, too.
