The Expo: Team 16 Evaluations

Here's some standouts from the final team I covered last Saturday at the Expo.

I'll have more analysis from the Freshman and Sophomore Showcases in the coming days and weeks. Stay tuned!

Salter's a smaller guard. But he plays with tons of energy. Runs for loose balls anywhere on the floor. Also capable of pulling up from anytime. Showcasing a smooth touch around the rim. The kind of point guard that never loses confidence.

McPherson's a physical point guard from Butler College Prep who does bits of everything. He's super aggressive on the boards despite his smaller frame. As a scorer? He can let it fly from anywhere. He hit a very tough 3-pointer from the top of the key early in his final contest.

Kaczmarski caught my eye with a super crafty layup in the closing stages. He does a stood job moving to get open off the ball offensively. As a defender, he plays well in a man-to-man setting.

Athletic rangy combo guard with bounce. Had a nice fastbreak dunk in the final game of the afternoon. As a playmaker, he showed off some impressive vision with a few no-look passes. Threading the needle through tight windows for some nice assist chances. As that last game went on, he started showing more aggression attacking the rim with a quick burst down the lane. But his ability to get up and down the floor with pace might be his best trait. 2027 Jacobs prospect.

Bluboulinis is a glue guy you can heavily rely on. He was super effective in the final game running up and down the floor. Getting several transition buckets with ease. Made a very strong cut down the baseline for an open layup late in the game. Made all the right passes and avoided silly mistakes.

Quitno's a 2027 guard from Marmion. He's an underrated ball-handler who broke past defenders on many instances with his dribble skills. He's also a solid rebound chaser for someone his size. Loves to push the tempo in transition.

Amous is a big-bodied guard who's a playmaker on both ends of the floor. Quick, active hands guarding on the ball which led to several fast-break opportunities in his first contest. Adds a smooth touch when finishing around the rim. Added a corner 3-pointer towards the end of the first game, too.
