120 players came to gain exposure in front of college coaches and scouts plus compete versus some top end players over the two days. There was a lot of talent in the gym and

Here were 8 2027 G/F Standouts

[player_tooltip player_id='2337274' first='Brig' last='Bowden'] Mesa

The big man had a very good showing. He scored it from inside and out. Inside the paint he uses advanced post footwork with double moves to get the defender off balanced and he will fade away from mid-range plus face-up to the three. He is more fluid then he was a year ago and rebounds well in his area.

[player_tooltip player_id='2853933' first='Trey' last='McClure'] Chandler

A high motored wing forward was pound for pound one of the better rebounders at the Southwest Basketball Camp. He will score with and-1's in traffic, offensive rebound put backs, get downhill and shoot it from mid-range and in. He uses his stronger frame, length and motor to control the glass. He also will defend multiple positions.

[player_tooltip player_id='1986833' first='Noah' last='Mckinney'] Pusch Ridge

A scoring guard makes it look easy in stretches. He could only attend one day, but he showed what he can do in his game on the main court. He scores it easily from mid to the three point line off the pull or catch and can get downhill and score it in the lane. He will have a huge season in Tucson.

[player_tooltip player_id='2396140' first='JR' last='Moore'] ALA West Foothills

A scoring guard with pretty good size. He can score and defend. He rebounds well for his position and can defend a couple positions. He will score with step thrus, mid-range pull-ups and threes off the catch. A nice transfer for Coach Deakyne.

[player_tooltip player_id='2953456' first='Nathan' last='Nichols'] Cienega

A bigger sized wing forward who can score it smartly with off the ball cuts, transition layups in heavy traffic and he has a polished mid-range jumper. He uses his size to rebound and he may be a breakout player to look out for a little bit this season but definitely next year when some seniors graduate.

[player_tooltip player_id='2916076' first='Jordan' last='Noble'] Palo Verde

A sharp shooting scoring guard who made the move from Empire HS. He is a catch three point shooter who will let it fly with a quicker release. He is a sneaky athlete and a plus rebounder for his size. The more he gets used to the higher level of competition, the better off he will be long term.

[player_tooltip player_id='2396138' first='Rashad' last='Ortiz'] Palo Verde

A long, lean and athletic scoring guard who can defend and score. He will catch and shoot from the three point line and he is very smooth to the basket. He also score with lob layups and he is an effortless dunker with quicker bounce.

[player_tooltip player_id='2291974' first='Nick' last='Reber'] Highland (Pictured)

A stronger framed shooting guard is a downhill force with his deceptively quick burst and broader shoulders to the basket. He can hit the three, dunk it on the break and hit tough shots in traffic taking a bump better then most. He makes smart reads and defends in space.

[player_tooltip player_id='2297437' first='Dylan' last='Vargas'] San Tan Charter

A good sized power forward is hyper athletic who runs the floor better then most. He will spring up on the break to play way above the rim, rim run and he can use the floater game to score. He rebounds well in his area and will block shots. He is making strides every year with his shooting but his live body on defense keeps him in the game.
