TUSTIN, Calif. — The sixth Hoops By Ugland (yes, me) Skills Summit brought together 145 prospects from across Southern California and beyond Sunday at Tustin high school. There was a mix of highly-touted, under-the-radar and unknown prospects all of whom got to showcase their abilities in front of many of the region's top scouts and media. Below we break down the upperclass forwards and centers - 2026 and 2027 prospects - who raised their stock.

The 6-foot-6 forward showed a ton of offensive versatility Sunday as he used his strong frame to initiate, absorb and finish through contact around the basket. Gonzalez then surprised his defender by stepping out to the three-point line where he knocked down open catch and shoot threes and showed adept footwork and touch in pick and pop action.

Dylan McGhee | 2027 | Roosevelt

McGhee has a ton of upside that has yet to be realized but he showed flashes of what that could look like. McGhee has a long, wiry 6-foot-8 frame complete with fluid athleticism and coordinated movements both on the perimeter and around the basket. The junior prefers to be on the perimeter where he can stretch the floor with off-catch three-point shots but also impacted the game as a rim-running threat in transition offense.

[player_tooltip player_id='2551743' first='Gavin' last='Kroll'] | 2026 | Cypress

Kroll's recruiting stock has risen over the last few weeks as he's played well in a handful of local events. The 6-foot-6 forward is a versatile offensive weapon who was most effective Sunday as a stretch four player. Kroll can really shoot the three-ball at a high clip and does so in a variety of offensive actions from catch and shoot to pick and pop and trail action threes.

Myles Middlesteadt | 2027 | Laguna Hills

Middlesteadt opened a lot of eyes Sunday and went from sleeper to on-the-radar quickly in his first game. The 6-foot-7 forward can do a little bit of everything offensively and was one of the better passers regardless of size or position. Middlesteadt flashed his vision and basketball Iq when triggering offense at the top of the key or at the high post. He also showed a smooth mid-range jump shot and some face-up scoring ability, as well.

Reyce Peters | 2027 | Riverside King

There weren't many forwards who played with the combination of elite motor and explosive athleticism that Peters brought to the floor. The 6-foot-5 four-man was running the floor with purpose and it resulted in him getting countless dunks in transition. Peters is light on his feet which leads to a quick vertical pop off the floor for his at-rim finishes.
