Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase – 6 Players to Watch, Part 5

Arguably the best event that we put on every year, over 100 of the state's best incoming freshmen will put their talent on display in front of our team of scouts. This is, for the most part, our first look at the Class of 2029. That is what makes the Freshman Showcase so important. The 6'3" long, lean athlete has a smooth outside stroke that he uses to stretch the defense, but can also use his positional size and length to score around the basket against smaller defenders. He is a good shooter on the move, has deep range, and can make plays off of the bounce as a lead guard. He is capable of getting paint touches in one-on-one situations from the perimeter and consistently makes good decisions as he drives it. The 5'10" point guard comes in with a decorated grassroots career already under his belt and plenty of name recognition. Shivers is a shifty, playmaking guard that we have seen highlights of, but haven't seen play live to this date.
