He attacked the basket strong and under control where he could finish with either hand around contact. He did the majority of his scoring damage inside, but showed flashes of what his perimeter game could become. Clark is an elite athlete who can play above the rim already as a rising sophomore.

Max was one of my favorite guards on the day and I was impressed with his performance. He is an elite facilitator, as he was creating shots for his teammates, as well as himself all game. He is a confident scorer who could get a bucket in different ways, being a three-level threat off the dribble. I really liked what I saw from the East Ridge sophomore.

Jaden is a sniper from the perimeter and was letting it fly whenever he was left with any space. His range stretches well beyond the three-point line, needing to be accounted for by the defense. He has a smooth shot and was a go-to option for teammates looking to make kickout passes.

Cortez showed a lot of potential in the action I saw, showcasing a good combination of skill and athleticism. He was great around the rim with either hand, being able to finish strong or with touch. He can score from the perimeter, as I saw him sink a pull-up three. Foster was also bringing the energy all game and had a monster block inside.

Dayne is a versatile 5'11” guard, but a characteristic about his game that stuck out was his ability to rebound on both ends of the floor. He was crashing the offensive boards pretty hard which led to second chance opportunities for his team. Jackson cashed in some transition layups, being able to finish with either hand. He also racked up a couple steals and assists, doing pretty much anything for his team to succeed.

Amir was one of the quickest guards I saw all day and he was able to blow right by defenders on his way to the basket. He loved to get to an inside hand scoop finish on the left side of the basket, which he went to often. Abdalla was also successful on a couple touch finishes from further away from the basket.

Solomon was effective in this game with his ability to play on or off the ball offensively. Early in the game, he had a strong take for an and-one finish which caught my attention. He can stretch the floor as I saw him knock down a catch-and-shoot three in the corner. Mogelson also played hard, hustling for loose balls and saves out of bounds.

Devin has a strong 6'5” frame, which he used to work in the paint on both sides of the ball. His size allowed him to be a great rebounder, gaining second chance opportunities and finding teammates for outlet passes to push the pace. Dawson also got free for a couple fast breaks where he showed off his athleticism.

Lucas was an energetic guard that I liked watching with the ball in his hands. He has a super quick first step and was pushing the pace for his team. He has a tight handle and could create for himself using the dribble. Larsen showed the ability to score from all three levels, including a deep make from a few feet behind the three-point line.

Hunter did not do a ton of scoring in the matchup I saw, but impacted the game in other ways to help his team succeed. He has great vision, as he had several nice passes to cutting teammates for easy layups. Boyer is a smart player who played very unselfishly.
