High School Spotlight: Parke Heritage Wolves

The season is still a few months away, but it is never too early to look ahead at the high school season. We will be taking a look at some quick hitters, the top player(s), a potential breakout player, other roster members, and more for the upcoming season. He is 161-84 as a head coach.</li> <!-- /wp:list-item --></ul> <!-- /wp:list --> <!-- wp:list --> <ul class="wp-block-list"><!-- wp:list-item --> <li>Will be looking to make a run at a Class 2A State Championship. </li> <!-- /wp:list-item --></ul> <!-- /wp:list --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Top Player:&nbsp;[player_tooltip player_id='1560965' first='Treigh' last='Schelsky']</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Wolves will be looking to do something special this season at the Class 2A level and luckily for them, they will be led by one of the best guards in the state with [player_tooltip player_id='1560965' first='Treigh' last='Schelsky']. The senior guard returns this season as one of the more productive guards on both ends of the floor you find on any team this year bringing back 13.4 points, 4.0 assists, and 3.3 rebounds. A high IQ player, Schelsky runs an offense extremely well with his ability to pass and score both on and off the ball. He comes into this season with offers from Marian and Huntington. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Potential Breakout Player:&nbsp;[player_tooltip player_id='2272232' first='Isaac' last='Pickel']</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Parke Heritage has one of the best guard and big combo in the state and the Robin to Schelsky's Batman is 2026 center [player_tooltip player_id='2272232' first='Isaac' last='Pickel']. When it comes to mobility and finishing around above the rim, Pickel is one of the best and can be a tough matchup in the post, especially at the 2A level. He had a really strong summer player with Progeny and will come in looking to be the impact in the post that Wolves need him to be.
