Film Work: 2026 Standouts Prospects Review

There are some quality prospects in NorCal we don't see as often for various reasons. After reviewing film these prospects should be on the radar this upcoming season. They've played against quality competition on various circuits that took them out of the State of California.    The underrated prospect from Portola averaged 25.9pts, and 15.6rebs a game according to Stats last season. He switched from the Oakland Soldiers EYBL to the All In Elite squad on the Under Armor Circuit, for the Spring and Summer. Sheridan is one of the top Forward/Centers in NorCal. He has a Division I offer.     A top play making guard from the Valley. He's been a consistent prospect since setting foot on the Varsity as a Freshman. He has speed, quality handles, and vision. He can generate buckets with his quick dribbles, and release from different areas on the court. He has 3-point range, he'll pull up quick 3-pointers in transition. He led Central Catholic in scoring 17.3, and stls 2 a game. He has speed, and court awareness.     He spent a considerable amount of time sharpening his point guard skills on the EYCL. A good size guard, looking to move the ball around the perimeter finding shooters, and feeding the post with good entry passes. He's a solid body, using strength, and balance penetrating the paint for assists, and points. He's a capable scorer with a mid-range game, and other ways to get a bucket.     A versatile wing/forward whom we haven't seen play, other than with his high school team during the season. He can be productive playing different areas on the court. He's a triple threat from the high post, passing, using his dribble to drive to the front of the rim. He hits the free throw jumper, or steps out for a 3-pointer at the top. He sets solid screens for shooters, and guards to cut off of. At this level he's a go to guy on the block with body, and decent foot work. He rebounds, and passes, he's one of the better players in the San Jose public schools.     He's one of the better guards from the San Mateo Area when healthy. He can effect the game in different ways. He's a heads up guard with ball handling, passing, and an ability to put points on the board. He plays under control, makes good decisions with ball in hand. He can maneuver his way inside using body, and dribble. He plays off two feet after attacking from different angles. He can hit the corner 3, and work for rebounds.     A long wiry body, with a filling frame. He moves well slashing, and cutting to the basket, he'll finish. He can shoot the 3 ball from the corners on the catch, or spotting up along the perimeters, he'll use a dribble to free himself along the perimeters, or weave his way to the basket off the dribble. He works his way in for offensive rebounds. He'll make the extra pass.     He was an early season standout looking in mid-season form the last time we saw him. He's a 6'2 combo guard who likes to go up and down the court attacking defenders, and muscling his way to the basket. The 2-sport athlete put up 17pts a game. He has good ball handling skills, a willing passer. He'll get the ball up court quickly, spray it around the perimeter, when he's not aggressively attacking the basket. He's got active feet to defend away from the basket.
