If he gives that to Knoxville Catholic, then <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1959161' first='Cade' last='Murphy']</strong> will be elated. They lacked scoring depth last year mostly in December. Murphy was excited to play with Malachi a lot in June at BCAT Hoopfest and expects Brown to be an immediate impact player. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Last year [player_tooltip player_id='1959161' first='Cade' last='Murphy'] won Rocky Top Fall League MVP.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline">New Names to @PrepHoopsTN</span></strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2928966' first='Miles' last='Comparato']</strong> (2028) plays for Halls High alongside brother <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2396632' first='Colby' last='Comparato']</strong> (2026). These 19 points made a splash, but the guy was diving effortlessly all summer with the Tennessee Travelers. Colby is a great hitter for the Halls' baseball team. Look for the pair to excel this next season. Miles stands 6-foot-2 and plays either guard position.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Blake Christian</strong> (Jellico) dressed as a freshman. During June's BCAT Hoopfest Blake played spirited on-ball defense. He still needs to get quicker with the ball as Whites Creek exploited a teamwide slowness of Jellico High in a drubbing. In the last six months Christian really gained power in his legs is now built like a high school varsity guard.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2401348' first='Will' last='Croley']</strong> (Campbell County) is coming off a balanced sophomore season during which he scored 8.5 ppg along with 4.9 rpg and 4.7 apg. Campbell County graduated four of their top six scorers. Will will be required to score a ton in 2025-2026.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2929014' first='Ben' last='Cross']</strong> (Knox Central) did not start last fall, but he became an important ball-handler for a struggling Bobcat team that turned the ball over constantly when it was not in his hands. The coach identified the need. Cross' instincts are good and his court awareness belies his age. He will be good enough to compete with most point guards in their district this season. High school teammate<strong> [player_tooltip player_id='2929024' first='JaiShaun' last='Dean']</strong> scoring 15 points weeks before he even steps into Central's halls for his freshman year is notable.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
