Anthony Ali Nayab | Cathedral Catholic

Nayab is your consummate floor general type of point guard who thrives in a variety of settings due to his basketball IQ and the smooth pace he plays with. At 5-feet-8, Nayab keeps his eyes up the floor in transition looking to advance the ball to create transition offense. Nayab was a smooth and smart creator out of ball screen action who also stretched the floor to the three-point line when the defense went under screens.

Blake Baker | Cathedral Catholic

Baker is a two-sport athlete whose football background, combined with his basketball fluidity and skill, made him one of the more intriguing wing prospects in the 2029 Creme Game. Baker knocked down open catch and shoot threes but was at his best when slashing to the rim and using his size and athleticism to extend and finish at the cup.

CJ Johnson | San Marcos

Johnson brought an intriguing combination of size, strength and physicality to the guard/wing spot and the majority of the defenders on the opposing team had a difficult time keeping him in front and out of the lane. Johnson was shot out of a cannon in downhill transition situations where his athleticism took over as he powered his way through contact en route to paint finishes.

Egypt Dean | La Jolla Country Day

Perhaps the most naturally gifted basketball athlete and player in the 2029 Creme Game. The bouncy left-handed wing flashed inside-out scoring ability complete with a high elevation jumper off the bounce and the ability to slice his way to the rim off the bounce and quickly pop off the floor for an above the rim finish.

Kamran Shirazi | Francis Parker

Shirazi put on a shooting clinic and did so in every way imaginable. He was best when using his handle, shiftiness and changes of speed to create space from defenders to get into his step-back jumper. The 5-foot-10 combo guard also hit with deep range off the catch and used his quick trigger to get his shot off in a hurry.

T'Marrion Williams | Mt. Miguel

When it comes down to pure athleticism - speed, vertical pop, lateral speed and ability to cover ground - few in this game compared to Williams. The 6-foot guard attacked the rim with purpose on the break and glided his way to easy finishes at the cup. Williams was one of the more impactful defenders in this game as his combination of physical tools, quick twitch reaction time and ability to contain on the perimeter led to steals, tips and disruption on the perimeter.

Will Spurgiesz | St. Augustine

Spurgiesz strength was the fact that he stayed true to his skill-set. The 6-foot-5 forward patrolled the painted area offensively where he used his soft touch with either hand, fundamental footwork and patience on the block to score at the rim. Spurgiesz also flashed solid ball skills and face-up shooting ability.
