This is the 5th version of these player rankings for the Class of 2026, which have previously been featured on the Nothing But Net Magazine website. I have updated this list to include the Spring and Summer club sessions, and the Scholastic Live Periods of June. I have expanded this list from 55 to 60 players from around the Central Section. This list of players was compiled using my own evaluations, along with feedback from knowledgeable media, coaches, and other relevant basketball personnel from the Section, to make up the top 60 rising senior prospects for this updated round of player rankings for the 2026 Class. However, the order of players on this list is my own. I will update these rankings by the end of the calendar year and expand the number of players if needed. This list takes into consideration two key factors in determining where players are ranked, and will be the same criteria used each time this list is updated. The criteria for these rankings are as follows: current skill level and production on the court, as well as future projection at the collegiate level. Below is the next 10 players of these players rankings, #31 through #40, and will round out my ranking coverage for the 2026 class of rising seniors. Next, I will dive into the class of 2027, starting with the top 10 for the rising juniors in the Central Section. In this article, you will find the following information: current rank, their previous rank in parentheses, the player's name, height, player position, and current school of attendance. We begin this updated list with the quick and physical guard, Keyvon Burcher.

31 (NR) Keyvon Burcher |5'10| CG (McLane)

Burcher makes his debut on this list of rising senior player rankings and comes in at #31. Burcher led the Highlanders in scoring last season at 15.6 points per game, to go along with 4 rebounds and 2 steals per game. Burcher has a strong handle on the ball, keeps the dribble alive to stay in attack mode, makes good use of the hesitation, in-and-out dribble, and the crossover to get space from his defender, has a great burst of speed off the bounce, and has touch on the floater down the lane, as well as creativity on finishes at the basket. Burcher is efficient with the jumper from the mid-range to the 3-point line, either off the dribble or the catch, has great body control through contract down the lane or on the jumper, and plays with on court speed and control that makes it seem like he is playing in transition, even in the half-court setting, which keeps the defense on its heels. Burcher is set for a big senior season, and will be a key factor as McLane looks to take the NYL Title from Garza and Madera, as Garza returns the core of its roster.

32 (41) Brayden Stevenson |5'10| CG (Tulare Union)

Stevenson moves into the top 40 for this updated list of player rankings, and lands at #32. Stevenson, along with backcourt mate Demaje Riley, put Tulare Union back on the basketball map this past season, as the Tribe split the WYL Title with Tulare Western and had one its most successful seasons in recent memory. Stevenson earned 1st Team All-WYL, and put up some phenomenal numbers with averages of 21 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 steals per game, which display his two-way impact on the court. Stevenson has solid handles. A quick burst of speed off the bounce to get into the paint, the ability to finish through contact or with creativity around the basket, good use of the crossover to create space from his defender, with the ability to connect on the jumper with accuracy from the mid-range to the 3-point line. Stevenson moves well off the ball to get open looks off the catch, with deep range from beyond the arc. He is a ball-hawk on defense with active and strong hands to rip the ball from his opponent and loves to push the pace in the open court. Great football prospect as well and recently was named to the CalHi Sports 1st Team All Grid-Hoops, and has committed to Nevada for football. He will be a key piece for the Tribe this coming season, as it looks to win an outright WYL title and a playoff run that it failed to take advantage of this past season.

33 (NR) Jaiden Anderson |6'3| WF (Buchanan)

Anderson makes his debut on this list of rising senior player rankings, and comes in at #33, after a strong Summer of play with the Bears. Anderson was in the mix of last year's rotation for the D1 Section runner-up Buchanan of Clovis, but showed his ability to score the ball will be of much more value this coming season, as the team will need players to step up as scorers with Conner Sheets now off to college. Anderson has a strong handle on the ball, gets good lift on the mid-range jumper off the dribble, is a good positional rebounder that can push the ball off the glass, and has a strong build to finish through traffic down the lane. Anderson can space the floor with the 3-ball, is a versatile defender that can guard the 1 through 4 positions effectively, and makes good reads from the top of the key to find open players moving off the ball.

34 (29) Simon Kebede |6'| PG (Stockdale)

Kebede moves out of the top 30 and comes in at #34 in this updated list of players. Kebede has seen the highs and lows at Stockdale during his high school career, as the Mustangs were a top 5 team in the Section his freshman year and finished 2nd place in SYRL play. Fast forward two years, the Mustangs tied for last place in SYRL play. Despite the program woes, Kebede's game has made major strides the past few seasons, and he led the Mustangs in scoring last season, which will likely be the case again this coming year. Kebede has good handles, the moves to create space from his defender with the use of the crossover and hesitation, a good burst of speed off the dribble drive, with the court vision to make plays or to create his own scoring opportunities. Kebede has nice touch on the floater, squares up nicely on the jumper, and is effective with the 3-ball.

35 (32) Brock Beshwate |6'| PG (Immanuel)

Moving down 3 spots and coming in at #35 in this updated list is Brock Beshwate. Beshwate transferred from Bullard of Fresno, and the move paid off, as he went from a player in the mix to the leading scorer for the Eagles, as Bullard has 3 of the top guards in the Section in this same class. Beshwate averaged nearly 13 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 assists per game and was named to the 1st Team All-Tri-County-Kings Canyon League Team. Beshwate played with What Wins 17s during the Spring and Summer club sessions and is primed for a big senior season, as Immanuel is looking to add some fire power and get the program back to where it was in the 2010s. Beshwate keeps the ball on a string, keeps relentless pressure on the defense looking to attack the paint, has the court vision to find open teammates when the defense collapses on him, and has great touch on finishes around the basket. Beshwate is accurate with the 3-ball off the dribble or the catch, the body control off the spin move to score within fifteen feet, and makes great off ball back cuts to get easy buckets.

36 (28) Carter Finley |6'4| WF (Buchanan)

Finley comes in at #36, as he moves out of the top 30 for this updated list of player rankings. Finley was a key piece for last season's D1 Section runner-ups, and was impressive for the Bears in the month of June. Finley is an elite on-ball defender with good size and length to defend perimeter players, as well as switching off on bigger players, where he holds his own. Finley has great lateral footspeed and active hands to generate steals, is a ball-hawk to read and jump passing lanes that lead to transition possessions. Offensively, Finley moves well off the ball to get to the open spots, and is efficient with the 3-ball off the catch, with the handle to use the pump-fake and attack off the dribble. His scoring numbers may need to increase this coming season, but his defensive prowess will be the key to his, and the team's success.

37 (30) Acen Zuniga |6'1| WG (Centennial)

Zuniga is one of the better dual sport athletes in the South Valley portion of the Central Section and comes in at #37 in this updated list of players. Zuniga was another player that transferred from Liberty to Centennial of Bakersfield last year after the football season, and he was one of the top perimeter defenders in the SYRL. Zuniga averaged 10 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists, and nearly 4 steals a game, which goes to show his prowess as a ball-hawk on the defensive end. Zuniga can space the floor with the 3-ball, has the handles and moves to attack the basket off the dribble, with touch on the floater and creativity at the basket, and makes good reads from the high-post. He is a good positional rebounder, can push the ball off the glass, and excels in the open court. Zuniga has a relentless motor and plays with a physical presence on the court that is a by-product of his play in football.

38 (36) Jacob Baldovinos |6'1| CG (Garces Memorial)

Baldovinos moves down a few spots and lands at #38 in this updated list. Baldovinos had an unexpected junior season, where two of the Rams' starters went down with season ending injuries, and his role as a scorer and shot creator became a necessity. Despite the struggles of the season after two core players went down, Garces earned some wins in league play and accomplished more than many expected, and Baldovinos was a major reason why. Baldovinos makes good use of the crossover and the in-and-out dribble to create space from his defender, is effective with the jumper off the dribble from the mid-range to the 3-point line, and has the court vision to find open teammates when attacking the basket. Baldovinos moves fluidly off the ball to get open looks off the catch, and is a creative finisher around the basket. Baldovinos will be relied upon to be the primary scoring option for the Rams this coming season, and Garces also has good size in the paint, which could lead to some success in league play, as the SWRL could be down this season.

39 (47) Moses Curry |6'1| CG (Liberty)

Curry moves back into the top 40 of this list of players, and comes in at #39. Curry averaged 8 points and 3 rebounds last season, but had some solid showings in a few games I watched live and was a key piece of what the new coaching staff is implementing at Liberty. Curry has good handles and keeps the ball on a string to survey the floor, has the court vision and precision to make tough reads from the top of the key or off the dribble drive, and has nice touch on the floater. Curry uses the crossover and the hesitation to get defenders off balance and create space, as well as light it up from beyond the arc off the bounce or the catch. I would expect to see Curry have a big senior season, and put up good numbers. A player to keep an eye on that could move up these rankings by the end of the calendar year.

40 (NR) Omari Brown |6'6| WF (Bakersfield)

Rounding out the top 40 and making his debut on this list of rising senior prospects is Omari Brown. Brown missed last season with an injury but was an impact guy for the Drillers over the month of June, as he brings length and size to impact the post, as well as the ability to close out on perimeter players and alter shots. Brown protects the rim, is active on the glass, has nice touch on shots around the basket, and is tough to defend when in the dunker spot, opposite the guards driving to the basket. Brown is effective with the jumper off the dribble and uses his length to shoot over most defenders. Brown will be key for the Drillers this season and could be another player to jump up this list next time it is updated.
