2028s Bigs we want to see at the Sophomore ID Camp

We're about a month out from the Sophomore ID Camp at Gold Crown on Sunday, September 7th. This is your chance to test yourself against 2028 talent from across the state as we all head out under one roof. He was a player to watch moving forward that we were intrigued by, but when he got to come down and compete against top teams in the state and hold his own, he put everyone on notice. He's 6'8, mobile, and ready to get inside and dominate. He defends without fouling, alters shots at the rim, and finishes well around the basket. Every opportunity he gets early to prove that he's one of the best players in the class, I believe he should take it, as I feel he will be a sought-after player come junior and senior season. We want to see him there on September 7th.     Yarbrough's size and length immediately command attention the moment he steps on the court. Standing at 6'5”, he was a matchup nightmare getting to his spots with ease and finishing strong around the rim. He dominated the paint, consistently boxing out defenders and controlling the glass. What truly separated his game was his versatility, no matter if that is setting hard screens up top and rolling to the rim or stepping out to knock down the long-range jumper, Yarbrough showed he's far more than just a post presence     Harper certainly has the size at 6'4, but he also has the skill to match it. He gets out in transition as a runner and finishes, he grabs the boards and goes right up with it, and also navigates inside. Harper is a two-way standout who covers up holes defensively. He had a pretty good summer, and now it is about proving it a bit more than he belongs up there and can rise. We want to see him at the showcase as an all-around player.     Fedderson is a 6'8 big man from Chatfield that will be a player that turns heads for the next few seasons. He's confident with the ball in his hands, can create for himself and others, and competes on both ends. We saw him stand out at Colorado Live, and that is how he got on the radar, it is time to solidify himself as one of the best bigs in the state. I think he's going to have a monster year, and there's not a better proving ground than going and having a big day at the showcase alongside the state's best.     Shortis is a player that we're certainly intrigued by, but we want to see more of. He's not an actual big, but he's a player that is capable of guarding positions 1-4, and in most cases, the big as well. We envision him as a catalyst for Columbine as he does not have to score, but he's capable of attacking in iso situations, either creating off of the dribble or setting the screen and rolling for a basket. For [program_tooltip program_id='2836105' first='Pluto' last='Prospects'] this summer, he did all of that and then some. We want to see him get out and take over in a showcase setting, and he's a player that we feel is capable of doing it.
