Here's the third and final part in the series highlighting standouts from OYL:

[player_tooltip player_id='2735157' first='Nolan' last='Parsons'] | 2029 Fast Break Society

Even though Parsons is known for his long-range jumper, he still managed to get open along the perimeter. Off-ball, he was never in one place for too long because he was constantly relocating and sliding into open windows. And when he caught the ball, he got his shots off before anyone could contest. His ability to handle was notable too with how he got defenders leaning the wrong way and zipped by them into the lane.

[player_tooltip player_id='2896786' first='Jalen' last='Price'] | 2029 Goated

Price played with intensity and a sense of urgency every time he stepped on the floor. The 5'9 two-way guard pressured the ball on defense and forced one takeaway after another. He kept up that level of aggression on offense as an initiator. His paint touches frequently led to trips to the free throw line, catch-and-finish opportunities and/or open threes.

[player_tooltip player_id='2893654' first='Anthony' last='Thomas'] | 2029 Goated

As a forward/big wing, Thomas didn't overwhelm his opponents, but he has the raw ingredients to be a really good player. With his wiry strength, Thomas got active on the offensive and defensive boards. In addition to the putbacks, he scored by flashing/cutting to the hoop. And on the other end, Thomas used his long arms to disrupt opponents with deflections and blocks.

[player_tooltip player_id='2869486' first='Jett' last='Truitt'] | 2030 Hoop Dreams

Truitt had too much game and too many weapons in his arsenal for defenses to contain him. With the ball on a string, he could hesi, push, crab dribble, then get to a floater or drive, go behind the back, and side step into a three. Even when he seemed flustered or loose with the ball, Truitt was still in control. He would absorb contact, have a help defender flying at him, and still keep his eyes up to make the right play.

[player_tooltip player_id='2767455' first='Khaleef' last='Wilson'] | 2029 Bounce Republic

Despite being an otherworldly athlete for his age, Wilson often set up his teammates by facilitating in transition and he unleashed his bounce in the halfcourt instead. Going either direction, off one foot or two, Wilson threw down powerful dunks off the paint touches he created. Moreover, his ability to use ball-screens allowed him to create for himself as well as others. In the championship game, Wilson took home the MVP honors.

[player_tooltip player_id='2812233' first='Justen' last='Wright II'] | 2029 House of Handles

Never sped up and always playing within himself, Wright II brought an unexpected level of poise to his team and the league. The cerebral point created off the dribble whether he was the primary initiator or attacking off the catch. As soon as he caught the ball, he made quick decisions that set ups others to score. And when it was time to call his own number, he played with good contact-balance as he slashed to the cup.
