The 2025-26 New Mexico high school basketball season will soon be here. Here are some of the top shooters in Class 4A returning to their respective teams for the upcoming campaign:

[player_tooltip player_id='2694552' first='Ezekiel' last='Burrola'], Goddard: Burrola made his mark for the Rockets last season as a 3-point sharpshooter. He averaged more than 1 triple per game, connecting on 37 percent of his attempts from 3-point range. Burrola will lead a Goddard team that looks to advance farther in the 4A playoffs after losing in the first round in March.

[player_tooltip player_id='1717306' first='Jerek' last='Duda'], Espanola Valley: Duda emerged last season as one of the top 3-point shooters for the 2026 class. Duda connected on 64 3-pointers and scored 346 points for the Sundevils, averaging 15.7 points per game. Duda should be one of the top players in northern New Mexico in the 2025-26 season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2402829' first='Jerry' last='Moody'], Highland: The 6-foot-8 Moody enters the 2025-26 season as one of the most intriguing players in the state. He'll be a junior, but established himself last season as somebody who can make shots. He averaged 7.4 points and 8.8 rebounds per game, and connected on 48 percent of his shots.

[player_tooltip player_id='1717248' first='Joziah' last='Salazar'], Pojoaque Valley: Salazar averaged 10.6 points and 3.7 rebounds per game for the Elks in 2024-25. He connected on 56 percent of his shots, continuing an upward trend in his career. He was extremely accurate from 3-point range, making 46 percent (31-67) if his shots from behind the arc.

[player_tooltip player_id='1717253' first='Francois' last='Satchivi'], Del Norte: Satchivi has enjoyed a sensational summer on the national AAU circuit and looks ready for a monster senior season for the Knights. Last season Satchivi made close to 40 percent of his 3-point attempts and 80 percent of his free throws. Satchivi goes into the 2025-26 season as one of the top players in the Albuquerque Metro Region.

Here are some clips from my weekend playing in the @RecruitLook Live Period in Atlanta and the @PrepHoops Tune Up in Colorado.
Tune Up: 14.3 PPG 3.3 APG 2.2 SPG
RL Live: 18.9 PPG 2 APG 1.5 SPG@CoachJamesJ @coach_bmase @AbcSpotlightNM @PrepHoops_NM @MichaelD34 @mikerans50 pic.twitter.com/FyS9iyDCxj
— François Satchivi (@Suawitdashifts) July 27, 2025
