Teammate of the state's No. 1 prospect, [player_tooltip player_id='1978099' first='Colin' last='Rice'] at Waukee Northwest, [player_tooltip player_id='1643192' first='Landon' last='Davis'] is a stretch big that can grab boards, play defense and step out and shoot it. Davis shared this summer that he sees himself as a player that makes his teammates better, with his ability to share the ball, as well. During the school year, Davis put up 10.1 points, 6.4 rebounds, 3.6 blocks and 2.9 assists per game for the 5A runner-up Wolves.

Davis's summer ascension landed him his first and only high major offer from Illinois, though he's also received interest from Iowa and Nebraska. For now, it appears the top power forward in the state will choose between the Illini and Drake. He also holds offers from Northern Iowa and UIC.

Previously committed to Iowa, [player_tooltip player_id='1660062' first='Navon' last='Shabazz'] reopened his recruitment following the change in the Hawkeyes' coaching staff this spring. A combo guard that has a strong handle, sees the floor well as the primary ball-handler thanks to his 6'4" frame and can shoot from the outside, Shabazz will likely find a home sooner rather than later. After making the transition to [program_tooltip program_id='2270834' first='Iowa' last='United'] Prep and playing on the grassroots circuit this summer, Shabazz has continued to fine-tune his game and continues to grow in all facets of the sport.

Looking like more of a mid-major prospect at this point, Shabazz picked up an offer from Fran McCaffery and Penn once Iowa's former head man took the position in Philadelphia, and he also holds offers from Buffalo, Murray State, Purdue-Fort Wayne and others.

[player_tooltip player_id='2413531' first='Cael' last='LaFrentz'] is the son of former NBA player and Kansas alum, Raef LaFrentz. A unique prospect to say the least, the Decorah big man stands at 6'10" with a 7'1" wing span. Slight of frame, LaFrentz still finds a way to dominate as a scorer in the paint with a series of floaters, turnaround jumpers, running the floor and positioning near the basket. The fifth-best scorer in the state and top scorer in Class 3A, LaFrentz averaged 29.2 points per game, along with 12.7 rebounds and 3.7 blocks per contest last winter.

As a rim-protector, LaFrentz uses his length to block shots and keeps his eye on ball-handlers that drive to the basket, making it near impossible to get a layup when he's in the game. That same length allows him to step out to the perimeter and, when a shooter believes they have a clear look, reach in and swat it away.

LaFrentz has largely kept his recruitment private, though he shared that he and his family took a visit to Nebraska this last fall via X.

Though his recruitment hasn't grown much this summer, [player_tooltip player_id='1765553' first='William' last='Gerdes'] remains a skilled forward that can put the ball on the floor, pass with the best of the forwards in the state and has ridiculously soft touch around the rim. Not a freak athlete, Gerdes uses footwork, natural touch and his ability to shoot the three to be a score-first forward.

If he wants to amplify his recruitment this winter, Gerdes will need to take a step forward and become more of a consistent, volume shooter from the perimeter, as well as add to his frame and explosion via the weight room.

Division I programs like Nebraska, South Dakota and Northern Iowa have offered Gerdes a scholarship and remain interested.

A big man that can score in the paint and shoot the three, [player_tooltip player_id='1978100' first='Jaxon' last='Clark'] is made for the modern game. With the ability to create for himself within ten feet -- off the dribble, face up, back to the basket, bully-ball or finesse style -- it's a real surprise he's not sitting on heaps of mid and low-major offers.

With Big Ten schools showing interest thanks to his 6'11" size and ability to score, one would think that the UNIs, Drakes and Missouri States of the world would be all over a prospect like Clark. The Keokuk product could help himself out this fall by becoming a more consistent free throw and three-point shooter, as well as playing with physicality on a more consistent basis. The production is there, though, as Clark averaged 22.7 points and 14.4 rebounds per game as a junior. Thus far, he holds an offer from Illinois State.
