Undefeated

The [program_tooltip program_id='2888391' first='Minnesota' last='Comets'] went to the Recruit Look vs On the Radar event in Atlanta (not the official name but I like the concept) and won all six games. Some games weren't so competitive (Team Drip!) and some wins were against very good Indy programs from the southeast.

[program_tooltip program_id='2075672' first='Minnesota' last='Fury'] Reyes battled past Heat Conyers for a one point win, they battled past [program_tooltip program_id='2078859' first='Starks' last='Elite'] for a one point win, and then they smacked up some out of state teams from Colorado and Illinois for a perfect weekend.

The Minnesota Swish has been a great story this summer. They continue to beat teams that coming into the season, most didn't they would beat. This weekend it was Fury DeLo and the Stars. And it was more than just the Ethans.

[program_tooltip program_id='2075449' first='East' last='Metro Bounce'] is closing in on a 30 win season. It was a nice win over Comets Petermeier, a crushing win over Iowa Prep, a 12 point win over [program_tooltip program_id='2075449' first='East' last='Metro Bounce'], and a 17 point win over the SSA SD second team.

[program_tooltip program_id='2075685' first='Minnesota' last='Select'] Mantey dominated their pool. They took on challenges from out of state teams and won close games and then beat up a few teams from the metro.

Dove Elite put together a strong weekend knocking off Select Horn by four, beating Titans Thompson by 18, defeated a Wisconsin team by four, and then beating Team Compete by seven. A very nice set of games towards the end of the season.

A Strong One Loss Showing

[program_tooltip program_id='2075431' first='D1' last='Minnesota'] competed in the Adidas Championships winning five games in a row earning a spot in the finals. They lost by a point but it was run that we will remember for some time, and it was against names in this business that just about everybody knows. Big weekend for [program_tooltip program_id='2075431' first='D1' last='Minnesota'].

Real Phenom went to Virginia and went 4-1 in Pool B. They earned wins over teams from North Florida and Australia and the lone loss was to Rice Basketball Academy. The event had the Pro 16 teams in a big group of about 50 teams and then 15 additional big pools and Real Phenom was 4-1 in that second group of the additional 15.

[program_tooltip program_id='2075685' first='Minnesota' last='Select'] Ohnstad opened with a big win over North Dakota Phenom, lost to Warwick but then bounced back to beat Hoop City and then earned a one point win over Fury Antl. A quality weekend for a team that can be very good when they are in sync with their roster.

[program_tooltip program_id='2075672' first='Minnesota' last='Fury'] DeLo beat a team from Texas, they knocked off the Rise by 20+, defeated All Wisconsin and then lost to Swish as they were still sleepy at 8am. A very good Friday and Saturday though for Fury DeLo.

After a loss to a Florida team in the opener, Hoop Habits won three close games and then finished their weekend with a blowout victory over Washington Supreme. A good showing for this program in St Louis.

Team FSA went to Kansas City for the Hardwood Classic and they had the best record of the teams in Pool A. The wins included Arsenal Hoops and Wisconsin Academy. The top spot in the top pool after the weekend.

[program_tooltip program_id='2075674' first='Minnesota' last='Heat'] Conyers pushed Reyes to the end before losing by a point. They then beat the Illinois Warriors, knocked off a team from Nebraska and then crushed a team from NoCo Elite. All the out of state guests were treated to big losses by the Heat.

Powerhouse Minnesota had a solid weekend beating [program_tooltip program_id='2076003' first='West' last='Central United'], knocking off the Lightning and beating Iowa Prep. They lost to SSA White in a close game but overall a very good weekend for Powerhouse.

Next Weekend!

It's the weekend teams are either spreading out across the country or they are calling it a season. Indy has the Prep Hoops Nationals, Adidas is in LA, and there are circuits playing all over the place.
