<p>[program_tooltip program_id='2455790' first='Howard' last='Pulley'] only played two of their four games so they don't win all their scheduled games but they did win the two games they played beating [program_tooltip program_id='2075485' first='Gain' last='Elite'] by 20 and then withstanding an excited first half challenge from Shakopee to ultimately win 65-52. </p>

<p>[program_tooltip program_id='2075431' first='D1' last='Minnesota'] 16s bounced back from a tougher week playing 17s in St. Cloud to an excellent showing at 17s in the Shakopee event The Tune Up. They defeated Lace Up, [program_tooltip program_id='2075485' first='Gain' last='Elite'] and Real Phenom 17 and under teams and gave a push to the [program_tooltip program_id='2455790' first='Howard' last='Pulley'] 17s squad. It was the right tune up before heading to South Carolina as [program_tooltip program_id='2075431' first='D1' last='Minnesota'] took a really nice step forward. </p>

<p>Minnesota Gold had a very good weekend going 3-1. After a close loss to Shakopee High School, they beat top ten [program_tooltip program_id='2075485' first='Gain' last='Elite'] by eight, they beat the Pulley 14s by 21, and then beat the top [program_tooltip program_id='2075431' first='D1' last='Minnesota'] 15s by two scores. That's an excellent showing for this team. </p>

<p>Elevate Skills continues to show that they are an up and comer on the local AAU scene. They knocked off the top Real Phenom team by 15, they beat Powerhouse by nine, and improved their winning percentage to nearly 80 percent on the year! They lost to D1 MN 15s and didn't get their chance to play Pulley but this weekend they have another chance to take a step at 2k25. </p>

<p>WOTN Phillips had a rough start losing to Real Phenom Gillard but they bounced back heavy beating Power Circle by 21, knocking off Real Phenom Joe, an dhten beating Twin Cities Elite by 32! That's a strong response to a rough first game. </p>

<p>It's open period week and we will have a run down of where everybody is later this week but some teams are staying local, others are spreading out throughout the country to do some summer traveling with basketball mixed in. That includes teams in North Augusta, South Carolina, Virginia, Atlanta, and other places in addition to the biggest share of Minnesota teams playing in the Twin Cities.</p>
