Very good showing from the Magic at 2k25!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The top team in the fourth pool was the [program_tooltip program_id='2075685' first='Minnesota' last='Select'] Krona squad! They knocked off one of the better 14u teams in the Falcons, and Select crushed their other three opponents including a Fury team, a Chicago team and Foundation North. Very good weekend for Select at 15s.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Lightning Snider won their pool with a nice win over top 25 [program_tooltip program_id='2075674' first='Minnesota' last='Heat'] Gunderman plus they beat teams from East of Minnesota (WI and IL) and did it quite convincingly. The Slam City win was the closest game (two score contest). </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>How about D.U.T. Academy Scarver playing up in competition and sweeping their pool AND picking up a game and beating a team from a higher pool!?!?!! Now that was a take notice weekend for this team that got going later in the year and has done a nice job. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Impressive One Loss Showings</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[program_tooltip program_id='2075672' first='Minnesota' last='Fury'] Wilde played up in Pool B last weekend and while they lost one game to a top South Dakota 16u, they won three of four including a win over [program_tooltip program_id='2821775' first='Buffalo' last='Legacy']. And the top 16s now hard tough its been to beat [program_tooltip program_id='2821775' first='Buffalo' last='Legacy']. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>After a 4-1 weekend in Adidas Gold play out in South Carolina, Minnesota Gold is top three in the state in 15 and Under wins overall. A solid weekend that included beating Team Tradition of Indiana Elite.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[program_tooltip program_id='2888391' first='Minnesota' last='Comets'] Elite won three of four beating fellow top ten WCU in Pool A, they knocked off Phenom, beat Pack and lost to Warwick </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Hoop Troop held the Minnesota banner strong crushing the top SSA team from North Dakota, they beat a Wisconsin team badly and then won a one score game against Team Compete. They lost to Fury Shepherd keeping them out of the top category but it was a very nice weekend for them. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[program_tooltip program_id='2075674' first='Minnesota' last='Heat'] Dedina made a strong impression beating Team Compete convincingly and also winning two one score games and losing a one score game. Overall a great learning weekend for Heat Dedina that included a couple big wins. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>From the same pool as Hoop Troop and Heat, [program_tooltip program_id='2075672' first='Minnesota' last='Fury'] Shepherd also finished 3-1! Like the others they beat the out of state teams and then split with the locals. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Next Up</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Many good teams including the two teams in the state are in Indy for the Prep Hoops Nationals, some teams are in Chicago for the RL Nationals, Pulley is in Augusta for Augusta Live, and a nice group of teams are playing locally in the Heat/Fury Shutdown. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
