He went off from beyond the arc in the game I watched, and his misses were very rare. In the game I watched of him, he hit five threes. All of these threes came off the catch and from deep range. He was able to knock down these long balls with his very brief release, soft touch, and high arc. Even with defenders eating up his landing space and contesting his shots, he was able to hit from outside unbothered. His shooting was extremely valuable to his team, and he created much space with his scoring gravity off the ball. He constantly punished defenders that helped off of him, and his threes were very timely and kept his team in the game on multiple occasions.

[player_tooltip player_id='2414563' first='Viktor' last='Bloch'] let it fly from deep throughout the game I watched him play, and to much success. His confidence and ability to pull off the dribble from way outside is far beyond his years. If given any space, Viktor was liable to spray from outside. This was due to his ability to transition into his jumper off the dribble with ease. And his quick mechanics kept defenders guessing and allowed for him to shoot over their contests. You could not go under on his screens, and you could not give him any space off the catch either. He was a tough shot taker and a tough shot maker. And his three-point buckets provided energy swings for his team. He was also great at using his threat as a shooter to draw extra defenders, and he was great at making extra passes and generating open shots for his team.

Tyler Traczyk was a movement shooting machine in the game I saw him play. Tyler has an elite ability to get his shot off in milliseconds while running around screens. Tyler hit five threes when I watched him play, and many of these shots had a tough degree of difficulty. Despite that, he was extremely efficient from beyond the arc, even with him hunting three-point attempts the entire game. All of his threes came off the catch, and these shots came from him sprinting through screens. He was amazing at slowing his momentum, dodging contests, and squaring up to the basket in an instant, which led to his elite game beyond the arc. He was one of the hottest shooters I saw play at Twin Cities Takedown. At moments, it felt like he couldn't miss.

[player_tooltip player_id='3605657' first='Evan' last='Sievert'] showcased his special three-point shot creation abilities at the Twin Cities Takedown. His fluid handle and shiftiness was his main method of creating space for these shots. His handle consistently shook defenders off balance, and he had no problem pulling up from deep and making them pay for giving him space. His step-back was his go-to move, and it proved to be very effective for him. He was able to retain his balance while stepping back and fading away. And this skill translated to the midrange as well, where his tough shot-making ability led to even more buckets. He really shoots from the hip well.

[player_tooltip player_id='2919130' first='Fulton' last='Vetter'] was a nightmare off the ball due to his movement three-point shooting abilities. Fulton was intuitive when it came to sprinting around dribble handoffs and hitting threes off the catch. He displayed an ability to decelerate after running full speed and pull into his shots with his extremely fast release. He hit threes off of movement and slowed down on the break and cashed out in transition. He was really efficient on these looks and knocked down four threes in the game I watched. And his touch, mechanics, and shot all looked really good. What added to his game, though, was his ability to use his shooting threat to force defenders to face guard him. When he saw defenders cheating over, he routinely back cut them and got many wide-open layups.

The Twin Cities Takedown event had many excellent shooters in attendance. The deep shot-making capabilities of these young prospects very much impressed me. Let's get right into the top 15U shooters from the Twin Cities Takedown event at Armstrong High School.
