Which prospects helped their stock at Romeoville Live over the weekend? These are prospects that elevated their standing with their performances during the second live period. Here is Part 2!

[player_tooltip player_id='2749990' first='Zane' last='Schneider'] (Lemont)

Schneider continues to string big outings one after another. The strong bodied guard is a plus shooter from the perimeter that has deep range on his three point shot. Also has the strength and athleticism to get in the lane for and-1s and reverse layups. Bucket getter that went for 22 points in the game we saw.

[player_tooltip player_id='2277698' first='Miccah' last='Butler'] (Edwardsville)

Butler is a metro east wing that had helium at the end of his high school season and in our first time seeing him since then he continues to show that off. One of the better pure shot makers in the class poured in five from distance in the game we saw. Can shoot it off the catch and creating space on his own. Feathery touch on the long ball. When defenders close on him he can shot fake and drive. Good size and frame to go along with a flame thrower from beyond the arc.

[player_tooltip player_id='1552408' first='TJ' last='Williams'] (Bolingbrook)

Williams is a long and rangy shooting guard that has been a consistent presence throughout the last couple weekends. He gets to his spots especially in the 15-18 foot range for jumpers. Also has some slippery handles for tough layups. Good second scorer for Bolingbrook while being a connective passer and sound defender.

[player_tooltip player_id='2105414' first='Sean' last='Lee'] (Decatur MacArthur)

Nice showing for Lee when we saw him in a blowout victory against Bradley Bourbonnais. The MacArthur wing brings size, strength, and athleticism to the table. Physically built small forward that has a burst to the rim and is a force in transition playing above the rim. Flies in on the offensive glass and can hit a mid-range jumper.

[player_tooltip player_id='2323622' first='Damari' last='Stephens'] (Kenwood)

Big bodied wing that has strength while also being nimble at the same time. Light on his feet and has proven his ability to be the guy and carry that load for Kenwood. The 2027 wing shot it well from the perimeter spotting up in the corners along with creating his own long ball. Also put pressure on the rim bullying his way downhill for scores in the paint making regular trips to the line. Good wing rebounder and is a solid defender.

[player_tooltip player_id='2125634' first='Hayden' last='Schroeder'] (Wheaton Academy)

Schroeder is the top post in the 2027 class and he certainly looked like it against Brown County with a stellar performance. The big man used his mobility and touch around the hoop for reverse layups, hook shots, and threw down a big one handed jam. Also was active on the offensive glass and overall rebounded really well.

[player_tooltip player_id='2297870' first='Matthew' last='Szafoni'] (Lane Tech)

Szafoni didn't necessarily have a massive game against a Rock Island squad that overwhelmed his squad. He is a stock riser because of the overall performance at the event along with the buzz he has created among college coaches. Will be making probably a 100+ spot jump in our next update. He has growth height wise, gotten stronger, and improved his game. Seals on the block, has touch on a turnaround jumper, and can pop a three ball. Good rebounder in his area. Skilled four is getting significant D1 interest.

[player_tooltip player_id='2823476' first='Lawson' last='Zulu'] (Rock Island)

Zulu had maybe the best game we had seen out of him against Lane as he scored 16 points playing off his speed. Slick ball handler that is creative as a finisher and pushes in the open floor. Quick bursts with the ball going from 0 to 60 in the blink of an eye. Active defender as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='2540205' first='John' last='Brown IV'] (Homewood Flossmoor)

Best performance we have seen out of Brown in his young career. Long and thin four man that has flashed potential before, but this was his most productive game. He showed touch on the three ball draining a trio of them in this contest off the catch. Good mechanics and let it fly with confidence. Had a put back and got to the line as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='2454169' first='Brad' last='Blackmon'] (Crane)

Blackmon was awesome in the final game of the event. He had 18 points while impacting defensively and on the glass. Offensively he is a slick ball handler that has an innate ability to hit the hole and slither through for buckets. Regularly went to the line for free throws getting fouled on his takes. His second jump on the offensive glass is a huge part of his game. Defensively he was a monster blocking a ton of shots along with using his length laterally. One of the better defensive performances we saw all weekend.

[player_tooltip player_id='2125641' first='Jamier' last='Montgomery'] (Crane)

Very strong first half for Montgomery as the long and wiry combo guard shook defenders with his handles while showing downhill speed to the rack. Creative handles with the ball off the bounce. Primed for a big season.
