Saturday was a perfect example of what sets us at Prep Hoops apart from the competition. It would have been really easy, and admittedly very fun, to sit on Court 3/4 at the Riverview Park Activities Center and watch Quarterfinal and Semifinals games from the Peach Jam all day long. However, we have a job to do and that requires us to travel to other gyms and highlight prospects that nobody else will be talking about this week. On Saturday we travelled to three separate events in two different states in order to watch a handful of different Indiana-based teams. Let's highlight our Hoosier state top performers of the day.

After playing with [program_tooltip program_id='2076927' first='Indy' last='Heat'] 16u in the spring, Lampley made the move over to Meansteets 16u this summer and has really excelled. He played especially well against his former team, that also features two of his teammates from Pike High School, on Saturday morning despite the last second 76-75 loss. The 6'6" wing continued to shoot the ball well connecting on 3-4 three-point shots and scoring 17 points to go with 5 rebounds in the game. What he brings to the table as a catch-and-shoot threat at his size is a big part of what makes him such an intriguing prospect in the Class of 2027.

We are going to simply speak it into existence until the rest of the country takes notice. [player_tooltip player_id='2194328' first='Jahari' last='Miller'] is a Top 100 player in the Class of 2027. Also, [player_tooltip player_id='2194328' first='Jahari' last='Miller'] is one of the best pure shot-makers in the country. Period. He proved both of those statements once again on Saturday as he scored 27 points in [program_tooltip program_id='2076927' first='Indy' last='Heat'] 16u's win over Meanstreets in the quarterfinals and backed it up with 17 points in their semifinal win over JL3. Miller was 7-12 from three-point range on the day.

It was good to see Roseman back on the floor after missing a handful of weeks with a toe injury. The 6'1" point guard from South Bend St. Joseph High School is best known for his playmaking abilities as he posted an impressive assist-to-turnover ration on the way to a Class 3A State Championship. However, on Saturday, he displayed more of his scoring chops with consistent mid-range jump shots and creative finishes on strong drives to the basket. Roseman scored a team-leading 16 points in a rough loss for Bates Fundamentals 17u against Hawks Elite 17u at Augusta Live.

There has been plenty of fanfare around Stoudemire entering his freshman season. New Albany will now feature the top prospect in the Class of 2028 and one of the top prospects in the Class of 2029. The super physical guard led [program_tooltip program_id='2076927' first='Indy' last='Heat'] 14u, playing especially well during their second half comeback, to secure a 58-45 victory over Vegas Elite 14u. Stoudemire finished with a team-leading 15 points and 8 rebounds in the game. His combination of size, strength, and athleticism is really hard for his peers to handle on the perimeter.

Tonagel really burst onto the scene at the Charlie Hughes Showcase as one of the most impressive incoming freshmen at the event. He has continued his strong play on the big stage at Jr. EYBL leading [program_tooltip program_id='2076927' first='Indy' last='Heat'] 14u into the semifinals. The lefty guard that will attend Oak Hill High School alongside his rising junior brother scored 12 points while shooting it very well from beyond the arc. He connected on three three-point shots while [program_tooltip program_id='2076927' first='Indy' last='Heat'] mostly struggled to get their shots to fall for most of the game until pulling away late against Vegas Elite 14u.

If you strictly look at the box scores from Saturday's games you may wonder why Welker is included among the day's top performers. However, this article wouldn't be complete without him. Welker made two three-point shots in [program_tooltip program_id='2076927' first='Indy' last='Heat'] 16u's quarterfinal victory over Meansteets. The second of those 3's was a wild buzzer-beater to win the game. Then, the 6'6" versatile forward posted 8 points and 7 rebounds in their semifinal win against JL3. Welker really excels in his role.
