June 20-22 I attended the annual Section-7 at the Arizona Athletic Grounds in Mesa and I attended the Cali Live tournament June 27-29 in at the Open Gym Premier Sports Complex in Ladera Ranch.CA.

Both events were live periods where college coaches sometimes were standing room only watching certain teams and players.

Here were some of the 2026 F/C Standouts

[player_tooltip player_id='1482164' first='Desean' last='Middlebrook'] Basha

A hyper athletic wing forward plays and defends multiple positions. He can defend the post and then quickly switch to a point guard making it difficult to score on him. He rebounds at a high rate and blocks shots in bunches. He will score from mid-range and get downhill in traffic.

[player_tooltip player_id='1741167' first='Kade' last='Snyder'] Sunnyslope

A strong power forward with great size and a nice touch. He will face-up from mid-range and he is capable to shoot it from deep. He will score with put backs off the glass, dunks, quick spin moves with his back to the basket and gobbles up rebounds plus is tough on defense.

[player_tooltip player_id='1680907' first='Josh' last='Dillard'] Ironwood

A high motored, tough wing forward who can play multiple positions up front with the 3-5. He will run the floor and score it with tough drives, threes off the catch and offensive rebound put backs. He rebounds well and he is the heart and soul of their team.

[player_tooltip player_id='1612468' first='Cameron' last='Williams'] St. Mary's

A skilled face-up four-man with elite size. He was one of the tallest at the events plus has arguably the most skill. He will drill threes, mid-range jumpers, post ups, fall aways, rip thrus with plus body control and he is a sneaky good passer with a feel with either hand. He creates his own offense with his handle, runs the floor, can rim run, rebound and block shots with either hand.

[player_tooltip player_id='1917869' first='Ethan' last='Sobik'] Notre Dame Prep (Pictured)

A face-up power forward is a good rebounder in his area and will score with put backs. He sets strong screens and smartly boxes out his man. He holds his ground in the paint with his improved strength/frame. He will also step out and shoot the three off the catch.

[player_tooltip player_id='1938807' first='Makenzie' last='Lazor'] Casteel

A power forward with fluidity and skill. He likes to face-up from elbow and in and will even shoot the three. He can rip thru to score getting downhill or earn trips to the free throw line. He rebounds, runs the floor and brings some energy to the court.

[player_tooltip player_id='1150903' first='Rocket' last='Schwertley'] Brophy Prep

A strong framed power forward will score and rebound. He will score inside the paint with counter moves and with and-1's thru contact. He is another who can step out and will shoot the three. He made two clutch free throws to ice a big win vs De La Salle of California.

[player_tooltip player_id='2322523' first='Joe' last='Miller'] Saguaro

An undersized power forward is tough and has some skill. He can be a garbage man inside as he gets every rebound and will score with put backs and score the contact. He is a very good passer and will hit the three off the catch.
