Josh has rapidly improved many aspects of his game and has a “go get it” mentality. Josh has became very talented at creating his shot. He gets down hill and finishes strong at the rim. He is not afraid to crate contact and bump off defenders. He has a nice midrange game and and creates space with his footwork to get up shots over defenders. He has improved his three ball and shoots the catch and shoot three at a high clip. Josh is a plus rebounder and will battle with the bigs on the inside. He is a versatile defender and can guard multiple positions at the high school level. Josh lead his team to an elite 8 5A appearance and was selected at he 5A Northwest Valley Defensive Player of the Year.

Physicality stood out right away, as he used his body to create finishes at the rim and embraced contact. He stayed active on the glass, knocked down open threes without hesitation, and protected the rim by altering shots and coming up with timely blocks.

He rebounded the ball well, often securing key boards to start transition opportunities. Offensively, he was a threat from deep—knocking down threes at a 38% clip and spacing the floor effectively. His ability to contribute on both sides made him a valuable piece in his team’s success this year.
