Despite his team struggling to find a rhythm as a collective on Sunday morning, Sir was a bright spot with his consistent shooting. He has such a pretty shooting form that gives every shot he puts up a chance to go in, at least it looks that way. I was impressed with his ability to create shots for himself off the ball, kind of like the way JJ Redick used to create and take relocation threes. It's sometimes hard to find guys that create for themselves off the ball like that, so it was fun to watch Sir do it on Sunday morning.

Arend was another unique player to watch on Sunday morning because of his change of pace to get his shots. He nailed multiple threes to force the defense to stretch out, and then from there, kind of did whatever he wanted. My favorite possession of his was when he got himself to the free throw line, hesitated and slowed down like Kyle Anderson, taking his time with both steps and then putting it up and around a defender.

I wasn't even planning on watching the Illinois Warriors team that Thomas plays for on Sunday, but with a close game going into overtime, I had the privilege of watching him go to work. The last five minutes of regulation and all of overtime, the offense ran through him. Each possession, he would come down the floor and have some sort of combo to beat the defender, no matter what they threw at him. Many finishes through contact, and did not hesitate to get his teammates involved when he got doubled.

I like being able to shout out Hust on here because he normally wouldn't be that noticeable to a passerby, but watching for an extended period of time, he's the kind of guy to get his buckets and move on with his day. He scored the first five points of the game and continued to take his shots when he had them throughout the rest of the game. Although it was not the flashiest player I watched this weekend, he kept everything strictly business all the time.

When Olson's team went up by 15+, he was a key factor, whether it was shooting trey balls or getting into the paint, and when the opponent came back and even took the lead at one point, he was important in making sure his team got it back. He continuously knocked down clutch buckets that either tied it back up or gave his team the lead back, and it was clear that his teammates trusted him in that situation as well. Late into overtime, the guys were trying to get it to Olson in case some free throws were needed to ice the game. That kind of trust isn't just handed to anyone.
