What 2027 prospects left an impression on us at the recent Prep Hoops National Open Championship in Indianapolis? These are the players from around the country that did just that!

Maxwell Vise (Indiana Elite Team Tradition)

Really liked what we saw from this 6'6” power forward from Indiana. He is a long and rangy post with super long arms and plus athleticism. Rim runs with ease, high/low seals, big dunks, and can knock in mid-range jumpers. Impressive passer for a big man and is a solid defender. Upside here!

Andrew Reithman (Indiana Elite Team Tradition)

Reitman was a good second scorer for this squad. The guard is a good three point shooter with a solid frame along with solid passing instincts.

Miles Jackson (Upside Athletics)

Jackson had a big game in their final game of the event dropping 20 points in the victory. At 6'3” he has nice size and athleticism as a shooting guard. Plus three point shooter that poured in four of them as he has very good shot prep and a clean shooting stroke. Slick ball handler that cand also create for euro steps and layups at the rack along with finding teammates for scores.

Austin Lucchetti (Davis Brothers Elite)

Lucchetti came up big in the championship game leading his Davis Brothers Elite team to the title with 18 points. Four man that uses his physicality around the hoop. Works well in the pick/roll game, makes hook shots, and cuts off the ball. Tough defender on the interior.

Logan Ramczyk (Davis Brothers Elite)

Ramczyk is a combo guard who notched 16 points in the title game. Hit an array of threes getting nice elevation off the floor on a consistent basis. Layups cutting off the ball and is a solid defender getting steals along with blocking a three.

Max Tanner (Illinois Bears)

Got my first look at Tanner at the National Open Championships and this guard from Kentucky is one to track. Good scorer that can post up and also play out on the perimeter as a shot maker. Versatile guard that has some secondary passing in his bag as well.

Maxwell Beeninga (Minnesota Fury)

Starting point guard for the talented Minnesota Fury squad. He had a nice second half with his soft touch finishing game long with getting layups on cuts off the ball. Makes good passing decisions on the move.

Kolby Thompson (Minnesota Fury)

Came off the bench to provide a spark in the first half of the game we saw. Pushes in transition, can knock in a corner three, and is crafty scoring in the paint.

Raymond Brau (Minnesota Fury)

Brau is a 6'6” post with a nice frame and long arms. He sealed well in the high/low game along with utilizing spin moves in the post and rebounding in his area.

Lucas Auner (UTC Fire National)

Auner had a strong showing in their upset win over Fury. Won on straight line takes to the rack, spinning layups, and crashed the glass well from his guard spot for second chance points racking up 19 points.

Jackson Riley (UTC Fire National)

Riley is a lead guard that passes well off live dribbles, has a soft touch finishing game in the paint, and is a capable three point shooter.

Brayden Reinke (UTC Fire National)

Tough forward that can stretch the floor with his three point shooting and turnaround jumpers. Cuts well off the ball for scores on the move. Also is a gritty defender.
