KBC Bluegrass Sprint: Day 1 Standouts

Day 1 was loaded with talent and breakout performances. He had the ball on the string and seemed to play at his own pace even when pressured in the full court. For his size, he rebounded extremely well on both ends of the floor. Bryant got to the basket with ease and finished multiple tough shots around the rim. He made too many hustle plays to count throughout the game, coming away with loose balls and taking a charge. Bryant ended the 1st half on a 8-0 run himself to keep DHawk in the game. With his lengthy frame, he seemed to have a natural feel and was able to get hands on every offensive and defensive rebound even if he did not secure the rebound himself. Defensively he had multiple blocks and contested shots in both the inside and on the perimeter. Offensively he was very raw, but showed glimpses. He led BJ's Legacy to a first-round win over CC Elite, finishing with 24 points while knocking down multiple threes and attacking the rim with ease. He opened the second half on a personal 9-0 run to create separation, but CC Elite fought back. With the game tied, Jaden buried a tough pull-up three at the buzzer to seal the 54-51 win. The shots were not falling for him first round against Kentucky Select, but he continued to get his teammates involved with multiple assists. Kaden was very shifty, quick, and got to his own spots effortlessly. Kaden was also relentless defensively, guarding [program_tooltip program_id='2135129' first='Griffin' last='Elite']s top players and even took a charge late.
