Farmer is one of the top players in the 2026 class, with great upside thanks to his college-level size, athleticism, and skill. He has the length to play power forward but plays with guard-like instincts—scoring easily from beyond the arc and attacking the rim. He excels on the boards, has a soft touch around the basket, and finishes above the rim. With his skills and mentality, Farmer is poised to make a big impact this season and lead his team to success. Keep an eye on this emerging star.

Price was one of the standout surprises at the JSE Event, showcasing relentless competitiveness and a never-quit attitude. He leaves it all on the floor, consistently doing everything necessary to build winning habits—always moving to the ball on both ends and positioning himself to make the right play. As a high-level rebounding guard, he's aggressive with the ball and eager to create opportunities for himself and teammates. With an increased role coming at Zachary, Price is set to become a key name in the state—especially after his huge performance against Ruston, where he made plays in a variety of ways, demonstrating his versatile impact on the game.

Brown was one of the most exciting players to watch during the JSE Event, consistently doing everything needed to propel his team to victory. A big, strong guard, he easily bullies players his size and even smaller. Fast from end to end and incredibly quick, he leverages these skills to get to mid-range pullups effortlessly. His quickness allows him to get the ball up fast, making him a tough cover. Brown stays active on both ends—rebounding at a high level and attacking the rim with relentless energy, almost unstoppable when downhill. As one of the biggest stock risers in the state, he'll be a primary weapon for Madison Prep, and with his continued growth, they're poised for a deep playoff run.

I've heard this kid can score, but what impressed me most—especially in a game against Jena—was his ability to facilitate. He delivered precise left- and right-handed passes in traffic and in the open court, consistently making plays for his teammates. His extended range beyond the arc adds to his threat, making him even more dangerous on the floor. Truly a three-level scorer, he's equally proficient with mid-range shots, finishes around the rim, and handles the three-point line with confidence. After watching three games, I'm not even sure which skill is his best because he demonstrates elite ability in all three areas—mid-range, finishing, and shooting the three. This kid is definitely one to watch.

It's always exciting to watch a game with players you haven't seen before, and it took just minutes to see that [player_tooltip player_id='2532372' first='Hudson' last='Mire'] is a skilled and confident shooter. When his team needs a bucket, Mire is locked in and ready to knock down deep shots, commanding respect from defenders. Overplaying him opens up opportunities—he can move past the defense and make the right play, showcasing his high basketball IQ. With an elite handle and the ability to dissect defenses, Mire is constantly moving without the ball and always in position to create for himself or teammates. Coaches looking for a sharpshooter who can also put the ball on the floor and make plays should definitely add him to their watch list.
